Just finished 2 weeks of using Olive leaf to rid myself of yeast. It works wonderfully. You have to start slow for it kills the yeast so fast if you take to much to soon you get sicker before you get better. This is from the so called die off of the yeast. Am told this is normal when antimicrobial agents are extremely effective.
Killing yeast on this scale inundates the body with toxins from the dying organisms and the liver can not dispense them fast enough.
The protocol is to take 500mg a day for 3 days slowing adding each day until you get to 2000mg. Then continue to take 2000 for two weeks or until you feel better. Then you slowly take less until you are taking 500mg a day. Continue this for 3 months.
To take care of the die off in the yeast you take activated charcoal two hours before and or after a meal.
You must also start to take probiotics. Start with one a day and slowly added until you are taking 9 a day for 30 days then lower then to 1-3 a day. The reason for taking probiotics is to make good bacteria so the yeast can not come back the minute you reduce your olive leaf. Which it very well may if there is not enough good bacteria in your system to combat it.
Activated charcoal is used for poison control as it removes everything. Do not take it close to your supplements. That is one of the reason have been totally surprised to not see it being used on this form. When found out what was wrong with me started to take it right away.
Those using algin may not have to use charcoal.
Oil of oregano also works, how ever it is best used in oil form which has an unpleasant aroma. Which lingers in the room, LOL clears the sinuses
