I recently read a post where someone was concerned about a butt rash and now I can't find it. I started using unbleached toilet paper and it has made a world of difference to stop itching and irritation...who would have thought!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />.
Chlorine is our enemy, it is so toxic, especially for the mercury-poisoned. It is a good idea to filter your water too if you can, especially the shower faucet....you can buy one at Home Depot for under $30 and it is good for 6 months.

Thanks Sandi!
I always took ordinary toilet paper and sanitary napkins for granted til I heard some things about how they bleach it to death in manufacturing. I also wouldnt doubt there are added solvents to toilet paper as well--which enter the body-- especially women.
This healthfood store where I live sells non bleached safe organic cotton sanitary napkins and even tampons as well as tissues, cotton swabs , toilet paper and paper towels.
I notice I like there sanitary napkins better than the big store name brands found in grocery stores. After using the natural ones, I can definitely notice a chlorine smell when temporarily using the bleached type.
