Metallic taste in one's mouth is definitely a symptom of metal toxicity. Also, it might have messed with their thyroid, thus the hypo/hyper vacillations, which might mean they have Hashimoto's thyroid disease (back and forth is a symptom). If you go to www.stopthethyroidmadness.com website they have info on Hashis and how to treat it. You can still treat it wihile you are mercury poisoned, in you really need to in order to survive detox (the fatigue and joint and bones aches). There is a section on Herb Allures (Russ's website) that has a list of mercury poisoned symptoms, you and your friend can check that out to get an idea where you are. Another good website to get info is www.mercurypoisoned.com.Gabriella
Gabriella
Step by step, that's how you achieve success.

I had the "metal taste" symptom as well. It was one of the last symptoms to when I was getting quite sick. http://herballure.com/mms

Hi, well mercury messes up the thyroid, adrenals and just about anything and everything and causes metal taste and even sometimes a metallic smell. You may find these articles helpful for you because they not only address the thyroid and adrenals naturally, but the diet itself helps anybody with mercury or other toxicity. I'd recommend reading the articles on this website, not just this one for the thyroid and adrenals. http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu4_7_1.php

Bex, thanks for this website.
I know a lot of people here quote Bee and/or her ideas, but i hadn't really seen her site before. I've been doing a LOT of bad things in terms of diet over the years - even in the recent years when I thought i was eating healthfully.
This is great...

HI, no problem. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Glad you found it helpful and hope you find it useful! I think her advice probably outweighs most in respect to so many overall health issues. So much valuable info on that site, i recommend it to anybody.
