Im not going to say who this dentist is but I was really wanting to see him since he sounds to be the best in the uk but alot of the emails or things I read have a load of spelling mistakes and they seem to never give out enough info on type of things are used in the protocol even though its meant to be the best. Is this something to be concerned about or am I just a worry wart?

I'd say English wasn't his first language and then I'd talk on the phone.

I dont think you can judge by that, some of the top doctors are the WORST in spelling and their writing can be appaulling. Yet there is no taking away from there expertise otherwise.
So this maybe the case with this dentist. I'd go by his reputation more than his grasp of spelling. Beleive me, you'll meet many an expert mechanic, who cannot even spell.
Not too sure about why you are not getting all the info you are asking. Perhaps the dentist is reluctant to expose too much on that protocol, it could be personal to him and perhaps he's worked on that for years and does not wish it to become widely known. Usually the dentist's success is a lot of years of observation and work and when they find ways of healing the patients with a personally constructed protocol, in a sense it is theirs and their own personal touch.
Perhaps he is a little guarded for that reason. This is his livelihood too, so maybe that is part of it. I don't know for sure, just taking a guess.
But definitely ask around, reputation is everything among us fellow sufferers who you can be assured will be honest about that dentist, (sometimes brutally honest). It is good to make sure you hear from quite a few and this is why even negative testimonies shoul be allowed, because we need to hear both sides (if there are any).

Just a thought. I cut mercury free dentists a little bit of slack because they risk their health to take the poison out of our mouth. I was sure that my mercury free dentist suffered from some toxicity. Once in a while he would be very moody. How could they not be poisoned...working with the stuff all day long.

Not sure myself, a lot of unfixed and constant typos to me would indicate illiteracy. Usually, when a person reads well, they also spell well. The two go hand in hand in hand. I taught my daughter to read at the age of 3 and she quite naturally became the local spelling bee champ.
I'd be wary of any doctor or dentist with poor communication skills, if there are problems later you'll probably get the big shrug that naturally goes along with that.
A good doctor is meticulous not sloppy. And even if it were from mercury poisoning earned on the job, slack is not the way to go. If a doctor that treats AIDS patients acquires AIDS would you still want to visit him too? A dentist that acquires mercury poisoning on the job indicates a dentist that only thinks he knows what he is doing, but obviously is too dumb to treat himself (and probably others) properly. Not a good choice of advice in my opinion.
I visited this one dentist after already being mercury poisoned, just a regular dentist, for an opinion, this dentist has a very good reputation locally... and I say to him that I have mercury poisoning... this is when all my teeth still hurt... and the guy says to me incredulously..." I have a few amalgam fillings in my molars and they don't bother me" . I asked him if he wanted to see the the test results that were in my briefcase but he declined, I guess he didn't want to even begin to discuss it. So i go home and I am thinking about this... and I guess it's a good thing that the guy is not a heart specialist treating people who have had heart attacks... because you know, his heart is fine so far...
I did not go back there.

For me, it would not be the final straw, but it would be a few small points against him because a person who is careful in small things is also careful in big things, like amalgam removal.
"He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much."
—Luke 16:10
(slightly different idea, same principle applies)
