--ABORTION ENDS 25% of PREGNANCIES ~~

--The Office for National Statistics (ONS) came out with new numbers recently abut the percentages of abortions per conceptions in both England and Wales in 2019. With an increase from 25:2& percent for 24% the previous year, the new report shows that for the second year in a row, abortions are on the rise in both England and Wales. More than 200,000 pregnancies out of 821,809 were terminated via legal abortion

That means that more than a quarter of all pregnancies ended with abortion. The numbers for 2020 have not yet been released, but they are predicted to be even higher than 2019.

By comparison the CDC indicates that the percentage of abortions for the USA is 18%.

--ROE vs WADE OVERTURN ?

--Roe v. Wade was a court case marked with controversy. Its passing brought a fundamental change to our nation that became a doorway into a new era and a blatant disregard for human life that has affected every part of our society. Prolife advocates have fought for years for the overturning of this law that has allowed the ending of countless lives for the last 48 years. Now the Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch filed an amicus brief to the Supreme Court, arguing that Roe and other decisions regarding abortion were "egregiously wrong" and should be overturned.

The state law that is being challenged in the Supreme Court is a law banning abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy. A number of conservative governors in the United States are calling the Supreme Court to uphold the Mississippi ban on abortion and to overturn the 1973 landmark decision of Roe v. Wade. Mike Pence added his name to the amicus and several other conservation organizations have also filed a joint brief as the end of July contending that the Supreme Court's ruling in Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey is an overreach of federal power, contending that abortion decisions should be left to the states. ~~

---SANCTUARY CITIES EXPAND AGAIN ~~

----Eastland, Texas, a small city southwest of Fort Worth, has become the 30th active jurisdiction in Texas to ban abortion. The city's commissioners passed an ordinance that prohibits abortions after an unanimous vote, giving Eastland the status of being a "sanctuary city for the unborn." In this small city of about 4,000 people those seeking to profit from abortion will be penalized and held accountable. The women seeking abortions will not be penalized, just those who profit from it, including the abortion doctor.

This movement in Texas began in 2019. The city councils in Texas are having more success than all of U.S. Congress to stop abortion. The Texas Right to Life organization encourages citizens to take their stand and to petition their local governments to protect the unborn. Its website talks about how these victories have come about because citizens have "boldly asked their local governments to take a stand against Roe v. Wade and the abortion industry."
