Well I find I started the diet for about 2 weeks and didnt notice an improvement and felt worse as I couldnt eat what I wanted and felt moody.
Not too mention their is so many contradictions out their I dont know whats right or wrong. AND I HAVE TO THINKABOUT WHAT I EAT ALL THE TIME- This is driving me mental.
Can I eat an all day breakfast Bacon (Just store bought bacon Eggs (Store bought eggs) Sausages (Store bought) Spring Onions Hash Browns (Heard you cant have certain carbs at first or for hypoglyamia etc) (Ketchup)? (THnk it has sugar)
THan with meats how do I know if they are ok or not? Or is this taking it too far?
Im so confused as to what I am eating...I think the eggs I bought arent organic so is their a point? Do you have to have organic? My store bought sausages have Sdium nitrate and potassium nitrate etc...
But trying to look out and avoid foods will make me look crazy...Its so hard doing when your working full-time...Not to mention in a pub . Then their is avoiding alcohol as everyone wants a bevy after work etc.
I wish I could just quit work to sit at home and do nothing for a month to see if the diet helps. but then again I dont know whats right? I looked at so many websites such as healing bee and wholefoodapproach etc...I just dont know.
I think I just want to avoid all sugar, wheat and dairy and not worry about organic or stuff like that?
I sitll have amalgams in and all my m ates have amalgams and are fine which is weird. My immune system isnt that bad since I dont pick up all the infections going around so maybe I dont have candida or mercury problems.
I think it all could be mental based.??

Also I been recommended to eat lots of nuts and seeds every 3 hours...but then some say for candida you have to avoid nuts, seeds legumes etc...
And than their is intolerancs and allergiesI might have? Im so confused.
Basically all I see is that on the diet all I can eat is eggs, meat from butchers, and certain green veges only. But then I think I have an intolerance to eggs as I feel I get headaches or tied in the day if I just eat eggs?
Also their is some sayingto have lots of FOS Fructose since its gut healing but others saying AVOID FRUIT as its SUGAR!!???
Than they say Fibers are bad?? But I been told to take fibers to go reguarly?

I know, it's really hard. Contradictions are ripe. You'll get enough fibre from vegetables, so no worries on that front. They are actually very fibrous and act as a broom.
Fruit is sugar, healthy, but it can still feed candida. Best avoided, at least in the early stages. Not much contradiction there, most candida diets will say avoid temporarily. It is best to err on the side of caution and go with teh stricter ones. lemons and limes are safe, they are sour not sweet. You can squeeze them in water and drink if you wish
Nuts and seeds are neglible. some say best to leave intially. The stricter diets say it's best to leave them off until you are improved. Also they take a lot of digesting too, and sometimes your system needs a break to heal. Nuts and seeds can be problemic, so it's up to you should you wish to knock them off. Personally I would.
It's the early stages you have to really work on the diet before you can safely loosen up a bit. I know it's restrictive, but it has to be for a time. Eggs are a healing food, some reactions that seem allergic are often healing reactions.
I now it's annoying, but try and hang in there if you can. allergies and so-called intolerances are just simply the result of a loaded immunity and candida. You can be allergic to almost anything with that going on, so it's best not to focus much on that, but rather the healing foods. If you try and focus on allergies, you can go insane.
your body will of course create reactions as it's healing, so they can be interpreted as allergic.
You can eat, eggs, meat, chicken, liver, fish, vegetables like cucumber, lettuce, celery, radish, tomatoe, alfalfa sprouts, cabbage, onions, garlic, etc. So long as you avoid corn, carrots, beans, beets, peas, potatoes etc.
There are a broad range of vegetables you can eat, you just have to look for them. Just be aware of the high carb ones.
I can't really say much more, the diet I recommend is Bee's one mainly over all others. She has studied this her entire life and healed herself of extreme candida overgrowth. She knows what works and what doesn't.
That's all I can say is direct you back to her diet.
AGain it depends whether yu want to do this for yourself or not. Some of us have to, some manage not to. But be aware that during candida reduction, it is slow and you will get moody, tired and you'll feel like you're going crazy with cravings. At first it is like that. It takes time to improve.
Dont forget to have enough fat intake also, being no fat or low fat will make things even worse. These can help.
Supplements too. Problem is, we put so much emphasis on diet and what we're eating, that when we're not able to eat those things it's like some big part of life has been robbed. Try and remind yourself (as I have to), that it is just food, it goes in, gets chewed and goes out. The more important thing is gritting your teeth and bearing it and the cravings so you will finally improve.
The main thing is health. Again, don't feel pressured to do this if you dont' feel candida is an issue. It possibly is however if you feel worse after doing this diet. That's how it normally goes. But again, if you can handle your symptoms without the diet, maybe you can get by with basic eliminations or reductions in the bad foods.
Many of us have to do the full diet and even then it's a struggle. I used to just do it half pie when I wasn't the same as I am now and my symptoms were indeed mainly mercury, not candida. So I didn't really stick to the diet.
however, this time around, I have major problems with candida and finding that it's the biggest battle I've ever had. Diet now is essential, I just have no other choice. I hate it in a way, but that's life. I do cheat on it too and I know I shouldn't. I'm human I guess.
But I have to get back and try and stick to it. It's not really a diet you can cheat on. It's has to be stuck to for a long period of time before results are achieved.

Thanks bex this has helped clarify alot.
Supplements wise I take fish oils with B vitamins zinc and magnesium all in one supplement.
Its eyeQ optimum brain function fish oils.
It contains Titanium Oxide and magnesium stearate as ingredients. Are supplements like these ok to take. it doesnt say yeast free or anything. But I have taken these for over 2 years an scared to stop lol.
Also wouldnt eating all the same foods such as eggs, meat and veges everyday cause an intolerance to those foods?

I would try and eat organic meat, eggs and dairy not only because they have no antibiotics but also they contain no hormones. And hormonal cancers are really on the rise and I am thinking it is from all the additives we are eating.

In the first stages of the diet they should be avoided, but later on if you tolerate them, they can be added in moderation.

I really hate to add also all the plastics that mimic estrogen in food packaging that leeches into food, especially if anyone (crazy enough to use a microwave ) cooks food in those plastic containers, plastic bottled water ain't the best, if ya look on the bottom of plastic stuff and it has a triangular shape thang with a number on it, if the number is over 7 the plastic is more rigid and less leachable. Course all the hormones in our drinkin water from women on HRT adds to the hormonal challenge.

Garden of Life makes a product called 'Fungal Defense' that works well.
Those women really shouldn't swim in the reservoirs! After all those years of accumulating high levels of testosterone from their husbands especially!

To help control Candida, I would strongly recommend trying this: Nature's Immune StimulatorThis is an amazing blend of herbs. I hope this helps someone.

James/Joe, I strongly recommend to you both to join this group http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/candidasupport/Any questions or concerns you have about the diet or how to tweak it, or whether this or that should be organic or not will be much better answered by the experts on there than myself. Some thing "may" need to be organic, not everything. You'll find out which ones are best that way. Also check out the files on that group, it has an absolute load of information. You will get the info you need upon joining the group, they sent it to your email. Yes, potatoes are not allowed on this diet (no way). In fact, potatoes are probably one of the WORST thing you can eat at this point. They are so high in carbs, that I recall even when I wasn't doing this diet as strictly as I am now (I was still have a piece of fruit a day and having milk in my tea), I had a bag of potatoe chips and I just about went insane with itching in embarrassing places that night. From that alone. Come to find out later, my bits of fruit here and there and adding milk to things was also a bit of a hindrance too. Some people can seem to take the bits of natural sugars, depending on how bad the candida is. But it is just too easy to feed it i reckon. You can also find out what supplements are best on that group link I sent. You may add a few if you really want, but they are the basics of what we should be getting. James, just checking out your top post with the list of foods, sorry I missed answering that. Hash browns and ketchup are definitely out. But the others? Eggs, spring onions, bacon (may need to be organic), sausages (again will need to be pure), should be ok. Liver, chicken, all meats are fine too. PS. the allergy connection with consuming the same foods? You will not have to worry about on this diet, you will find out the discrepancies in that theory on the group. People there are eating these foods all day, everyday and are not developing allergies. Healing symptoms? yes. The usual allergy foods are coincidentally ones that seem to aggravete the gut and feed candida. Like grains, high sugar fruit, diary products etc. Allergy? Or could it be that it feeds an existing yeast problem?

Thank you all for the information I appreciate it. Its all really helpful and you never get any of this help by a doctor. They seem to just say your healthy and put you on anti-depressants etc.
So far I have been doing well avoiding sugar(Been quite dizzy though and a little on egde lol).
I have still been eating non organic meats and eggs and will try to change.

Hi Joe, you are very welcome. Pat yourself on the back with this, are you aware that the addiction to sugar with a candida person can be almost as strong as cocaine?
The main thing is getting off all sugar. You can tweak the rest as you go along. Don't try and stress yourself too much at first.
Dizziness, irritibility, tiredness, sleepiness, headaches, weepiness, depression, anxiety, can all be part of candida reducing. You will likely feel cravings, sometimes they can drive you insane, you can feel like you are starving. Just be aware that it's the candida not you that is starving <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
It is hard to get through and takes will power, but eventually you will break its back. But it fights like crazy to stay alive, it is NOT enjoying this. Also, when some yeast die, they are food for others yeasts, so initially go through this period of yeast dying, but other yeast growing, so it's up and down at first until enough is reduced to where you start to improve.
