Well I had my 3rd chemo and lived to tell about it....this is my 4th day and I am starting to feel human again. I took 4 anti nausea pills and couldn't sleep for 2 days, and then I woke up this morning and had the dry heaves. I finally got some Metagenics Ultra Clear pH Plus and was able to keep that down. I guess the anti nausea pills work for the first 2 days so you don't throw up the poison. (chemo) They also plug you up solid, they are some kind of steroids...Ondansetron...I think it might be almost as bad as the chemo.
Well I only have one more and then the surgery, I guess. Then 3 more, I don't know if I can do it guys, my resolve is wearing thin...but maybe it will be better when I get some of this poison out of my system.
Sorry for whining, and no need to respond...just please pray for me to get more strength and resolve to get thru this.
Hi Sandi, far from whining, which you never do, this is something I cannot even imagine going through. I can understand yu're resolve weakening, as to experience the reactions you get after chemo, would just be pretty diabological and wear anybody down.
But do not allow this post chemo reaction to have you believe you can't go on with too much more. Surely it will take time for this to come back out of your system, so you will feel stronger and more positive about it again.
I don't know how you do it, but I hope you never stop doing it. Keep up the diet and supplements and hang in there. WE are praying for you! and will keep doing so.
Thanks Bex, your kind words inspire me to go on, and I am feeling somewhat improved now, I think I just had my last upchuck, I hope!!!!!...sorry if TMI. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> I think they give you those anti nausea meds so you don't throw up the poisons, I think I will skip them next time, I would rather throw up!!!
I just phoned my ND to ask what I could take and he said to come and try a glutathione IV, what do you think of that? He said that it helps to remove heavy metals safely and helps reduce cancer cells too.
