well I thought this would be good to know everyone and what they been through or how they recovered.
James 21 years olf Midlands UK
Symptoms: Panicy, heavyness in stomach/chest, Pulse in ears when lying down. Dizzyness and trouble concentrating, dull aches in legs, feelings of not being calm or cant keep still.
These arent all the time but I always have certain symptoms constant.
I believe its the amalgams and from me worrying too much. Maybe candida
Doctors Diagnosis: Its a mental problem and put me on antidepressants and anxiolics.
What I have tried: St Johns wort which makes me more restless, 5htp made me anxious, EPA fish oil slightly helps sometimes(could be placebo).
Acidophilus, Caprilyc acid, oregano oil, ALA.
Nothing seems to help me enough as I always have something bothering me.
Maybe I need some counselling but want to remove my amalgams and get a thyroid check on NPTECH for FREE t3 (Why dont doctors do this?)

If you still have amalgams in ALA is likely to make you feel worse. A lot of people who have had amalgams removed cannot tolerate ALA at all. It is a powerful chelator

i feel sorry for people who take supplements to and dont realise that it could cause more problems if they have amalgams in. I know I used to take loads of stuff and didnt know it was bad because of amalgams.
Doctors think im nuts to believe all this stuff on the internet. They told me they make stuff up and people believe and suffer things. If it was a real problem it would b ein the medical field.
i told him about the thyroid levels of Free T3 and how people get better on the net and mercury and he just said stop the internet your making yourself worse or hypochondriac.

James, In the final stages of mercury poisoning for me, I had many of the same symptoms. I especially had problems with anxiety, brain fog, and getting to sleep; which became a 2 hour challenge each and every night, only to wake up feeling worse than when I went to bed. I was tempted to believe it was all in my head, but I'm really glad I didn't give in to that idea. For me it was chemical, and removing the toxin (mercury) changed everything in my life dramatically. We're soon going to release a video that talks about the relationship between body chemistry and behavior. Did you know that over 80% of the U.S. prison population is hypoglycemic? And that's just the tip of the iceberg. For those who haven't read it: My Mercury Story

James, one of the worst things you can do is take any form of chelation with amalgams still in. And ALA is probably the worst of them. For starters, even if you have no amalgams, this stuff should only be used later down the track after your body has reduced the blood levels of mercury. ALA crosses the blood brain barrier and if you have a high level of mercury in your blood still (as you will have), it will take more mercury INTO the brain.
So I'd drop all forms of chelation immediately. And once you do have your amalgams out, I'd suggest getting onto a safe tried and tested mercury chelation protocol that has a good reputation, such as the Andy Cutler one.
Please be careful, you can make yourself much worse with this toxicity. It's too easy to do things wrong. And yeah, I would look at the candida side of things too very seriously, as this can contribute to mercury poisoning in a big way, sometimes causing symptoms that are identical to mercury, or even worse in some cases. The diet is most definitely necessary! If you want to treat candida, diet isn't an option, it's the whole point of the cure.
The only stuff you can probaby get away with taking is general basic supplements like vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium (if tolerated), milk thistle to support your liver, pure fish oil. You can get B complex from eating foods that contain it like beef liver etc. Or taking the dessicated liver tablets. This is a more tolerated way of getting the B complex for many people.
Hal Huggins, probably one of the leading authorities on mercury toxicity, suggests that a mercury toxic person avoid sugar, caffeine, wheat etc and consume mainly high protein foods like meats and eggs and to have plenty of butter, as he feels butter helps the body with mercury.
I wish I could suggest more to help you, but there isn't much you can do at this stage but diet and basic supplements, or you risk causing more problems. Amalgam removal is the next step, but I would get yourself prepared physically before you undertake that so your body is as well as you can possibly get it under the circumstances.
Getting worse during/after removal is common. So whatever dentist you go to, there is risks. They each have their own way of doing things and it's likely one will be great in one way, one in another. I doubt all of them will have the ultimate removal process, but the ones you have mentioned on here are probably right up there with the best.

Russ, I have read about the relationship between abnormal body chemistry and criminal behavior. Dr. Daniel Amen (see www.amenclinics.com) has scanned the brains of many criminals and he usually finds that they suffer from significant brain dysfunction. He believes that our justice system should be geared more towards treatment than punishment and I agree with him. I'm ashamed of some of the things that I've said and done due to my brain dysfunction. James, In the final stages of mercury poisoning for me, I had many of the same symptoms. Whether it be children or adults, behavior is intimately connected with brain chemistry and brain chemistry is intimately connected with diet and toxicity exposure.
