yes, this is actually one of my worst symptoms besides muscle pain, fatigue and brain fog......
I can't seem to take good, deep breaths. Just fast shallow ones. I have problems with anxiety, but breathing problems were just as bad during the time I didn't have the anxiety, so forme the two are not connected. Perhaps heavy metals in the brain prohibits the area controlling breathing to work properly??

Hello Tracy, how are you, I have been following your posts and see your having a hard time just now, I hope your new treatment will see you get better, you must be soooo fed up with all this by now. Anyway regarding the breathing problems I was always suffering from this last year just like you said shortness of breath and it would make me panic, very scary!! It kept reocurring when my other mercury symptoms would flare up and it made me feel terrible. A lot of people said this was connected to problems with the adrenals, I got supplements for this but it did not stop the problems I had breathing. However, I found a very interesting website which seemed to put me on the right track, on this it mentions that a lot of people who hyperventilate have a lack of magnesium in them. Since I have watched my magnesium inake and followed the tips on the site, like always breath through your nose as oppose to your mouth, I have hardly been bothered with this symptom - it was one of my worst symptoms I had and made me feel awful. Heres a link to the site www.drmyhill.co.uk/index.cfmSee list on left hand side and choose breathing problems Then it will give you a choice choose hyperventilation (makes you feel as if you can't get breath) If you go to page five of this forum and look down at my post called "order of symptoms" you will see the discussion about this also. Hope this helps, best wishes lizbet <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

When I had amalgams, shortness of breath was a very common symptom for me, especially after standing up or having even mild physical exertion. After the amalgam removal, this symptom went away. http://herballure.com/mms
