Right now Ive developed a new symptom, last night I had been sitting at the computor for about ten minutes and went to stand up, no dizziness, nothing, but I literally felt like I had no legs, ther was no feeling at all. I fell straight to the floor and twisted my foot badly. I managed to get up and the feeling was back. Has anyone had this happen. I know this can happen in MS, but I dont think thats my problem.

Hi Tracy. Was there literally no feeling in both your legs or just part of one or both legs? It's not uncommon to get numb in the thighs if sitting in one position for a while or to get a numb foot followed by pins and needles. A lot of people get what is called "numb bum" after sitting for a while. If it was all of both your legs, it would probably be a good idea to see your doctor.

In checking the archive, I see from an old post that you have been diagnosed with MS in the past. Have you had this particular symptom before? There are documented cases of people with this illness getting better after treatment for mercury toxicity. Are you getting any treatment?
