Human beings are like a cassette recorder. They store every single story, every event, every infection, and every injury. Imagine what it would be like if you were to use the same tape over and over again without ever erasing what was there before. Then you wouldn’t be able to understand anything anymore.
A human being with a chronic disease is in this state. Certain remedies can help remove especially troublesome noises and then the cells can once again understand what they are supposed to do until finally we can recognize a melody again on the tape.

This is very interesting. I've had terrible moments in illness where my body will decide to replay past sicknesses, or horrible thoughts or even dreams will flash back in my mind. Stuff that I could not have remembered normally at all, things I couldn't believe.
It was like things were being replayed back to me and it can drive me insane. I have no control over it. LIke recently, my mind has been flashing up old dreams I've had during my years of sickness and everytime it happens, I experience the same feelings of dread and depression. Or even events in my life will flash up. I seriously could not recall them normally, and didn't know my mind had stored everything, but it did.
It's a frightening thing to happen. In fact, even programmes I have watched over the years (in my sickness) will flash up and of course, I will experience the same feelings I had at that time and I will be distressed out of my mind. Even normal harmless programmes like nature shows, anything, but because I was ill at the time of viewing them, then all those feelings will flood back and I've reached a point of being beside myself holding my head and rocking and crying and unable to stop the rolling back of events, programmes, anything I've had over these years of sickness.
I never thought this was even possible and realise now that your mind stores absolutely everything, every thought you have ever had, everything you've said and done and every dream. It is all there and it is really something when your mind starts to flash them back up.
So thanks for the post above, it makes a lot of sense.

I think in a normally working mind these events are just stored and only recalled when you want to. But I remember a guy who had used drugs for a long time saying he also suffered this as the drugs had damaged his brain and he had no control over his thoughts. He said the drugs have opened up doorways in my mind that I cant shut. I suppose this can happen to us also when the brain become damged by something else like a virus or toxicicty.

Just to add to these words of wisdom, if only conventional doctors and psychiatrists were taught to think like this....
"Heavy metal and chemical toxicity create physiologically based chaos in the Central Nervous System. To attempt to resolve psychological issues while a person is toxic is not as productive as addressing them after detox. To diagnose a person with a mental condition while they are still metal and chemical toxic is.... unfair".
