Hi all, I'm looking for some info on the nerves in the teeth and if they can be regenerated or is it a hopeless search.
So, Does anyone know if the nerves in the teeth can be regenerated?
If so, what product(s) would do this?
Thanks for any help anyone can offer! Elaine

Are you referring to root canalled teeth, otherwise how did your nerves get damaged?

Hi Sandi,
I'm talking about regular teeth, not the root canal (correct me if I'm wrong but I think the nerve is completely gone in a root canal tooth).
But the dentist that I went to see, said he wanted to pull 7 teeth because he was afraid they would go bad and have to be pulled anyway. He said he was trying to save me some money. I think he just doesn't want to deal with them. But he thinks that the nerves might be damaged due to my bruxism. And he's only guessing that they could be damaged. I just don't want to come out from under the sedative, only to find that he pulled them anyway. Because he'll say that after he got in there, they looked bad and he decided to pull them.
So I thought, if I could take something that could help the nerves regenerate, then there wouldn't be a problem and I could keep my teeth. I don't want to just pull them, I want to heal them.
Thanks for any help you can give me, Elaine
