Are there supplements or herbs etc that would help an old person with Parkinson's? What could be the cause? Is it mercury related?

I read some interesting information about parkinsons in the book Detoxify or Die, by Sherry Rogers. She recommends checking out a website from Dr David Perlmutter www.brainrecovery.comShe said in the book that one injection of Glutathione can improve parkinsons symptoms in minutes. However another injection is needed in 2-3 days. But it may be worth looking into. I didn't check out the site myself, but it sounds like Perlmutter has had a lot of success. chigirl

Interesting that they are using Glutathione, especially considering its connection with mercury. Here is some information that may be more related than be think: http://herballure.com/MediaCenter/HaleyOnAutism.html

my dad has parkingsons. he,s 73. it's really upsetting.. i really would like him to have his amalgams out. he only has 4.the rest of his fillings have fallen out..
im in the prosess of him doing a 8 day cleanses. he also takes rice bran has it is one of the nutritinal dense foods there is.. and ph alkalin drops. co q10. and a antioxident supplement. sinse starting him on this 2 months ago i have seen some improvement... but i think his main problem may be the mercury.. i have some product called bio chelat which im thinking of trying giving to my dad. apparently it is safe too take if you still have your amalgams in.. but im a little hesitant..
