Hello everybody,
First, this site gave me hope to hang on......for better days!
Now, little about me:
I came to the United States in 1998, i was a perfectly healty 17 year old. Two years later my dentist told me that i need lot of work done on my teeth. I've head 3 root canals and lot's of fillings.
Believe it or not, ever since the dendist "did" his job i started sinking both menatlly and physically. I manged to gradute from college and i was in constant worry what's going to happend to me.
Now 5 years later i am so ill i can no longer work. I had to leave my soccer team. Severe anexiety and depression kicked in. Chronic fatigue, digestive problems, increased hearth rate, ringing in my ear, skin rashes (my derma did not know what is causing it). Also, right after i got my root canal and fillings done, i started losing my hair. No one in my family has baldness
I mean i can bear all these syphtoms exept: anexiety and depression. It is so severe that i don't know what to do with myself. Lot's of panic attacks. Sometimes i have to cry for hours. I am really scared of what is going on with me. I really need some help.
......so i am wondering; are the fillings cause of all this?

So glad you found us. I can totally relate to your situation, but I'm so happy I found the solution. I have my life back and I'm getting better every week (even though I had my amalgams removed in 2000). If you haven't already, please take time to read my story. Let me know if you can identify with the symptoms I experienced. If you're problem really is related to mercury, be encouraged. There is a solution. Here is a link to my story. http://herballure.com/HotTopics/MercuryAmalgam/MercuryBattle/index.html Please let me know what you think. I monitor this forum so you can just post your response here, unless you need privacy. Then feel free to e-mail me at russ@herballure.com

This shouldn't be taken lightly, because root canals can be even WAY MORE toxic than fillings. An excellent dental surgeon to consult regarding root canals is Dr. Kulacz of Mt. Kisco, NY. He also wrote a book, and he has a website. Just somehow, try to get a panoramic xray taken of your mouth. Then, for about $150, if you mail the panorex to Dr. Kulacz, he can advise you what to do next.
BTW, Russ, I'm so thankful to your for creating this site and for sharing your story. Because although I would occasionally see posts on boards screaming "Mercury Amalgam!" it never really sunk in that tooth fillings can actually have an effect on the rest of the body. But after a naturopath told me I have alot of metal, I'd started doing research, then happened upon your story, which is what convinced me more than anything. Because I realized from your story and your logic, that you're not one of those gullible "placebo-effect" nitwits, who are all too ubiquitous on health forums. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />
So... thanks! Because according to my hair elements results, I indeed meet 2/3 of Andy Cutler's counting rules for mercury toxicity, and I'm above the 95th percentile for toxic representation. I have extremely high cadmium, as well as alot of arsenic (both of which are even higher than mercury). And my mineral transport is all out of whack, with many being low, and four of them way down.

Thanks Maiden.
I made my story as detailed and accurate as possible so people can get a realistic idea of what it's like.
I know it's a complicated subject, but I'm so thankful that, for me, having them removed changed my life so dramatically. It's difficult to express how much of a difference it made and how feeling so much better, energetic, clear minded, etc., etc., etc. has helped me in every other area of my life.
My hat's off to the pioneers who provided the materials and research that educated me and convinced me that this odd and oft overlooked toxin was putting me through sheol.
All the best!
