Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to pass along some good news that I've received since my total healthy dental revision over the summer. I just had a checkup with my internal medicine doctor and my chronic epstein barr virus seems to be gone. This is a miracle!

Over the years my health has been quite poor and I've been given so many medical labels (i.e., chronic epstein barr virus, chronic fatigue syndrome, candida related complex, fibromyalgia, to name a few). I had become so ill and weak and was pretty much house-bound.

When I received a confirmed diagnosis of the chronic epstein barr virus, though, I got scared. This virus in active form can lead to some pretty scary cancers and other health implications. And it was making me really sick.

That's when I decided to revisit the mercury issue. I use the word "revisit" because nearly seven years ago, a Naturopathic doctor I had consulted suggested that my health problems could be stemming from my dental work. At that time she recommended that I delay doing anything about it until I felt better. Well, I waited and waited and I never felt better. Quite the contrary, my health continued to decline. Her advice in delaying dental restoration turned out to be very bad.

So, after the Chronic EBV confirmation, I delved into the mercury issue -- reading everything I could get my hands on. And I spoke with people who'd had mercury poisoning and had been through amalgam removal. Incidentally, Laura and Russ, you guys were more helpful than you'll ever know. Thank you for taking the time to speak with me on this issue!

In my readings, I kept coming across cases of people with chronic EBV that recovered after amalgam removal. So, I decided to give it a try.

In late July/early August, I had all 17 of my amalgams removed. The amalgams were done in one visit (thank God for conscious sedation!). Two weeks later, I had my one root canaled tooth removed and another "problem" tooth removed. My holistic/biological dentist was fabulous. He reversed my allergies to heavy metals two weeks prior to my amalgam removal. And also advised me on supplements to use in preparation for, during and after the procedures. And he also gave me I.V. Vitamin C therapies, other I.V. Vitamin therapies, oxygen therapy, laser and Anodyne Infrared therapies, ozone therapy ..... I can't remember all that he did! Some of the therapies were necessary post extraction because when my root canaled tooth was extracted, my left sinus cavity was perforated and I developed a heavy sinus infection which did require antibiotics.

I'm so glad that I had this dental revision done. I've noticed some encouraging changes. There is still much room for improvement and I don't consider myself healthy yet. But, my goodnes...... When the bloodwork starts showing changes in addition to how I feel I'm improved -- what a miracle!! My C Reactive Protein blood levels are also going down (CRP measures infection/inflammation in the body). Prior to dental restoration, my CRP levels were off the charts.

Anyway, I just wanted to share this in case it might be helpful to anyone.

Oh that is so encouraging, and thank you for sharing that. Every positive story I hear, gives me a glimmer of hope, that I will start reversing everything that is wrong with me. I know it is a long road and it will take some time, but I am so ready. Thank you for your inspiration today!! I needed it!

That is great Sharon. Hearing stories like this helps to give others hope! I have Epstein Barr Virus among other things as well and hope to have my amalgams removed in about 6 - 8 weeks so here's hoping.

Thanks for sharing. I am rather scared to have my root canaled tooth removed, and it is good to hear that someone else had good results! My dentist used kinesiology and said that the root canal is more of an issue than the amalgams right now, so the wants to treat that first.

Thanks everyone!

Lawstudent, I just wanted to say that my holistic dentist uses kinesiology too. He'll back up his finding with bloodwork if the patient wants. He always explains what he's doing while "kineseying" (don't know what the verb is, LOL!) and also gives patients the option of double checking his findings with bloodwork, where applicable.

I must admit, I was so impressed with his muscle response methods that I felt very comfortable with the results. I've had kinesiologists test me before and I was most impressed with him.

Like you, I was told that my root canaled tooth was more a threat to my health than the 17 amalgams. ANd that was saying alot because he found that I was super sick from the amalgams. Even after those findings though, he recommended that I remove the amalgams first and then see to the root canal. I expect that this type if decision as to timing is made on a case-by-case basis since everyone can be impacted differently.

And I just want to share that for me, one of the most important things I did was take Algin. I started it a month before my amalgam removal and continued with it -- doubling and tripling my dosage in the days prior to amalgam removal and then thereafter. I'm still using it, though not on a daily basis.

I know exactly how you're feeling as far as the apprehension goes. I was scared out of my wits to do a healthy dental restoration. In fact, on the day of my amalgam removal appointment, I was such a 'fraidy cat, my poor husband had to pull me out of bed because I didn't want to go. lol!

I was so worked up about it all that the sedative the dentist gave me in preparation for using conscious sedation for the procedure didn't work. The dentist said I was entirely too talkative. (Oh me, just recalling this now ...... I'm laughing now as I type this!) Anyway, long story short, due to nerves and sheer terror -- I had to be given an elephant's dosage to knock me out. LOL!!!!

But all went well. I did find the root canal extraction process to be somewhat draining physically. I guess my body was heaving a huge sigh of relief and got to work trying to heal things and it was telling me to take it easy so it could do it's job.

And jid, I'll be interested to hear if you gain the same results from your amalgam removals. It's seems there are loads of people like us and so many have gotten rid of their chronic EBV by removing amalgams.

Congratulations Sharon!

I also read some accounts where people's MS was reversed after having thier metal fillings out. A young woman who goes to my church asked for prayers for a co-worker of hers suffering through advanced MS.

I mentioned for her to tell her friend about how they are finding mercury fillings could be the culprit- and if she could get them removed, she may be like thousands of others who experienced healing afterwards.

She merely told me "ohh, well the woman is a professor, so I"m sure she knows what she should or shouldnt do-- and probably heard of that before"

Oh well-- you can lead a horse to water, but you cant make him drink!

You are so right. It is very frustrating to want to help people and they don't really want to hear what you're saying. Just keep doing what you are doing, Boldyloxx. As long as we keep bringing up the "possiblity" of this being the culprit of some of society's health issues, eventually someone that is poisoned will catch wind of it. I always say, if I can help just one person to live or not to suffer the way I did, it will have been worth it. As much as I am selfish to be angry at the life I have lost, I am also selfless. I want to save the world, and I know I can't save the whole world, but I would like to try.

Thanks, mommy24 :-)

The thing that gets me is-- she could have at least humored me and could have at LEAST told her friend with the MS-- that 'some wacko in my church mentioned you shoud get your fillings replaced--can you believe that!"

I'd be happy with even that! but I don't think she has any intention of telling her-- and they are both in higher social circles than I belong to.

Well anyways, I am really happy that there are people finding freedom from Epstein Barr virus or MS after getting their fillings out!

Yea, I know what you mean. If they are in higher "social circles" then they must know more than some PEON like me. Kinda like when I talk to the doctor. He has been through how many years and thousands of dollars worth of schooling, and I'm telling him that *I* know better than him. Yea, right.

I am also happy that people are getting freed from the diseases that plague them. I hope many, many more are able to see the light and get well.

Hello,

I am very happy to hear that you have experienced a reversal of EBV. I also have very high markers on my blood test, and like yourself, I am also revisiting the teeth connection. Do you have any updates on your condition?

Be well,

Danny

I am desperate to feel better. I'm an adult student (fulltime), five children and on a benefit. I've had ME for eight years. How much does amalgam removal cost? (ballpark figure. Obviously money is tight.

it cost about $250.00 per tooth and you can find a mercury free dentist on this website (www.iaomt.org) in your area

Sounds about right. Costs can range from about 120 - 300 and this depends on size of fillings, plus the dentist.

Best idea is to phone, email or type a letter print it off and send it to every biologic dentist near you and get an idea of the range of costs for amalgam removal. They should be able to give you an idea of that. E.g. how much for a small or a large amalgam replacement.

You should not have to go in and fork out for a consultation for this. They should all be open to giving you a vague estimate at least at what you could be looking at on email, phone or response to a letter.

For those that try and get you to pay out for a consultation rather than giving you any help or information beforehand? I'd be wary of. Those that are open to giving you some ideas of cost and information for free before you even decide to have a consultation would seem a better bet to me.

I always get as much information I can before I even SEE the dentist and if I dont take to the person on email or phone and i feel they are trying to suck me into an expensive consultation rather than give me some very simple free answers beforehand, I usually go elsewhere.

Dear In Dunedin I too was diagnosed with ME about two years ago. Would you mind telling me who diagnosed you and did they just go by your symptoms. I was diagnosed by a physchiatrist after an hour long interview. I have had all amalgams removed, not done much chelation, but am no better, in fact getting worse. I went to a private hospital for more tests to find out what was happening in my body. My tests showed high Mercury leves, Epstein Barr and Cytomglavirus and anumber of other things. Let me know Love Tracy PS What are your symptoms now?
