Hi clare, its hard to say, cos im so poisoned, i certainly didnt get relief overnight, i was still sufering from depression, anxiety, tinnitus, headaches and earaches. I never had jaw pain as such, i do get some jaw pain but only occasionly. The main reasons for having them cleaned was that i had a tooth pulled a couple of weeks earlier which was a root canal, and it wasnt pulled proerly as it only took 5 minutes to doI told this new dentist about it and he did an xray and he could see that it needed doing, it was never going to heal on its own. Also there was a big area of gum where 3 teeth had been and he could see the outline on the xray of where the teeth were originally, so to avoid future probs i told him to open it all up and clean it. Have you got teeth missing?

Hi ray, I went to Dr david harvie Austin. He is in Weymouth strt. I had a panoramic xray which he sends you to over the road from him. Do you think you have cavitations?

Hi Dawn,
I have only had one tooth removed from my mouth, I went to have a cavitat scan about a month ago on the area and it was all clear. I went to john ahearne in poole. It is my understanding that the cavitat scan is the best diagnostic tool to detect cavitations. I have a friend who had cavitations cleaned and got a lot better.
does harvie-austin say he can see cavitations from x-rays if so how?!
Hope you are well.
Ray

Hi ray, he says he was especially trained in America to do the surgery and to look at cavitations on panoramic xray. I have read thats its not always necessary for a cavitate scan.
