My brother reminded me recently of another source of mercury we were exposed to as kids which i had forgotten. We were given mercury to play with in science classes at school when learning about this heavy metal. We would play with it with our bare hands rolling it around the desk etc. I dont think that would be allowed today, well at least i hope not. Though you wouldnt think they would allow it in peoples mouths either but they do!

I remember playing with it as a child, also.

That's insane. Even the smallest amount of this stuff is so poisoness.

Yeah, but the worst exposure to mercury is the vapor itself. I read about a man who used to play with liquid mercury for years and oneday a bit of it fell and landed on a hot plate and of course it vaporised and he breathed it in.
He died within weeks. Obviously from an acute dose of mercury vapor exposure. Yet he had gotten away with playing withthe stuff all those years. Yet once it vaporised, he was a gonner.
This goes to show that mercury is far more lethal when it is put in contact with heat, or disrupted in anyway and the total INSANITY of putting in inside a mouth which has saliva and heat permanently, defies belief.
I mean yes, a person is not getting a massive one off acute exposure from amalgams, so it's a chronic build up for those whose bodies are sensitive to it and tend to retain it, rather than eliminate. This is why, when I had amalgams, I had bloated puffy tissues all ovr my legs. You could even push the tissue on my legs and make a dent. Because the tissues try to puff up with fluid to protect against the ongoing toxicity.
I also had explosions of crying and salivating uncontrollably when things built up too much and tasted metal, I even stunk of metal if I sweated.
My symptoms worsened considerably if I ate ANY wheat (which i find out is treated wtih mercury fungicide, plus the fact it contains gluten which can act as a glue inside the intestine and basically block elimination in some people and/or irritate the gut itself). Also sugar, and yeast and other gluten grains acted like a poison to me because my system was already toxic with mercury.
This is why diet is so essential I believe. As I've mentioned before, Hal Huggins himself said that diet can destroy more recoveries from this illness than anything else. Surely this shold be enough for any of us to take stock and remove everything that hinders healing and elimination. It's hard to do though, but it's worth it if it gives the body a chance to address the other toxicity more efficiently and may even eliminate some of the symptoms at the sametime (candida can cause symptoms that are very similar to mercury). Both usually work side by side to cause total misery in a person.

My biological dentist who is in the process of removing my amalgams told me something quite sad yesterday. I was telling him about the FDA statement that I came across the other day about the strict protocols that must be adhered to when disposing of scrap amalgam (see my recent post).
He told me about the gentleman who picks up their scrap amalgam from their clinic. Apparently that is his sole job - he travels around to all the dental clinics picking up their scrap amalgam waste for 'proper disposal'. Apparently his whole body and hands especially shake uncontrollably.
Poor guy. Probably has absolutely no idea what is wrong with him. I believe that we on this forum have a pretty good idea though!! Personally, I think that my dentist should have a word with him on the quiet.
