i am feeling so angry right now i know through private posts that some of us are going through sheer hell and dont know where to turn. I know its a huge struggle for everyone but some of us are absolutely desparate, frightened and cant see the light at the end of the tunnel. Dawn was right when she said we need a clinic its amazing how people enduring such horrific suffering have no facility to be helped and properly monitored on the road to recovery we deserve to be treated like anyone else who is chronically ill, like human beings. So much money is wasted by the government on wars and people who care about nobody else. If i had the money i would create that clinic and help my struggling friends and myself get back to health so they can be relieved of this hell that we and our families have to live with.

I wholeheartedly agree. I believe we all should plan some sort of regional get together. I live in the south-eastern US and would be happy to plan such a meeting if others wanted to attend. What about DAMS?Do they have support groups?

Tracy, I wish there was a place like this for people like us. One does not really realise the impact of toxicity like this, until they have it happen. otherwise it's too easy to remain cynical or start saying "pull yourself together" or "get a job, and live like other people, we can do it, so should you".
But there is something about this toxicity that is truly inexplicable what it can do, and there is really no way I can relate to others who don't have it, as they seriously can't see why I'm not living like they are. I am able bodied, I am not cripled and apart from looking pale and drawn, I am like anybody else. What goes on inside is another story.
This is why I try and tell people with this toxicity, you cannot afford to take onboard the cynism of other people, or start feeling guilty that you should or ought to be living a normal existance, should be married with kids, and/or have some career, have a social life etc etc. It's the nature of the illness, not you. Any human being has a natural urge to do things with their life, jobs, social life, family, it's in all of us. Mercury etc, can have the ability to distort this and cause a person to withdraw and become almost caught in time, not moving ahead. It can cut off motivation and the normal feelings you once had. I do not even feel or think like I once did. It's gone. I used to be on the go and contiually doing stuff and wanting to do stuff. Once I got like this, I withdrew and became a literal recluse.
