Yes! I get this all of the time. In fact, I also bump into things alot and often feel like my brain is enclosed in some kind of membrane or something. It's like information or processing is delayed going in or out of my brain--like it can take a few extra seconds to process things sometimes. It totally drives me nuts, and makes it very difficult to learn things in my current I.T. job. I have a hard time focusing on things sometimes, and find myself reading something over and over again--and still not really getting it. I would give anything to have my old brain back that I had in college less than 15 years ago. I am 36 now, and sometimes feel like I have the mind of an 85-year old with occasional Alzheimers.

That's me to a tee too Jason. Except I have felt this way as long as I can remember. My fillings were placed when I was 9 or so. I would read the directions on the 3rd grade test over and over. The other kids would be half done and I'd still be sitting there reading the directions, almost in a panic that I'll never finish because my brain won't process. I have that even to a greater degree now and is very frustrating with 3 small kids to care for and homeschooling on top of that. And I'm 35. I pray for God's Grace everyday to get through, and He always comes through for me in one way or another.
I am learning what is truely important in this life.

Yeah I hear ya....I used to feel like I was having an out of body experience....or I didn't feel comfortable in my own skin..always felt like an outsider....I am much better now, but still have to stick to a fairly strict diet to remain semi sane.
