Well the rootcanalled tooth I had extracted 3 weeks ago still has infection in the extraction site and I have to go back on Tuesday and get it reopened and cleaned out again...this time he is going to use stitches. I don't know why he didn't last time...it makes me wonder...cause I have heard that it should be done in all cases to prevent cavitations. But who I am to second guess a dentist, especially a holistic one, when he is the only one I trusted to do my dental work? Damn it, now I wish I had.
So now he has recommended antibiotics for the infection, but I am not sure if they will do any good. I felt so rough last week, I thought I had the flu, but it must be the poison coming out from the extraction site. Now I am scared to go and get the other teeth extracted...
Does anyone have a copy of the correct procedure to use when cleaning out cavitations. I can't find it on any sites and I am so losing faith in this dentist... I read it in a borrowed copy of TOOTH TRUTH by Frank Jerome...and I should have copied it out. I was going to order that book on Amazon, but it is over $70 for the paperback...what is up with that???
Wish me luck guys and thanks for listening to me whine.
Sandi

You may want to try colloidal silver on the infected site a couple times daily. It's my favorite supplement.

Oh sandi, im so sorry you have to go through it again. I must admit collidal silver looks like its amazing stuff. I would definitly try that first. When i had mine done, he cut a line in the gum and drilled to the bone, then he put some ozone in (dont have a clue what this is) when he had finished he stitched it up in a certain way, he told me that where he tied the knot it might hurt a bit and it did, i thought i had an infection. He gave me corsodyl, which is a mouthwash that oral surgeons use, he said to put it on with a cotton bud as much as every hour, then aloe ver gel to rub over afterwards, it is amazing stuff. 7 days later i had stitches out. I dont know why your dentist left it open. Get well.

Sandi,
Good luck!! I'm so sorry to hear that you have to go through this mess again! I've also heard that colloidal silver is amazing stuff and great as an antiseptic.
Take care, ~Tia
