I've been taking algin for a couple of months now and it has made a difference to how I feel. I know that it is able to absorb heavy metals in the body but does anyone know if it also absorbs beneficial vitamins and minerals or makes you deficient in anything?

I think it would be the same for any bulking agent; like most of them you should take it at least 2 hours away from vitamin and mineral supplements.

Lucie, I agree with Sandi; Take Algin by itself, away from meals and supplements.
