No. This product does not contain anything from its surroundings. The patent associated with it heats the zeolite to 900 degrees farenheit to separate all compounds and purify the structure. There might be other products on the market that don't have this patent, so I would do due diligence and make sure you check them out carefully if they are cheaper, etc. But, there are many doctors who are on board with this product and bringing it to their patients now and the FDA has given it a GRAS (generally regarded as safe) rating, which wouldn't happen if it had toxins and metals in it already. Besides, if it was full of heavy metals already, which it isn't, it wouldn't be able to absorb any additional metals, which it does based on the urine analysis reports I have that show heavy metals leaving the patient's body. I'm telling you, it's an amazing, life changing and sometimes life saving product. Two women I personally know have come back from terminal cancer on this product. They had nothing to lose in trying it, and now they are using it for prevention and sharing it with others also. I use it and have seen an amazing improvement in any/all ailments/symptoms I had.

I haven't done much research into it (but a quick google of zeolite and mercury does throw up some interesting results) and I'd be interested to know if any of the regulars have tried it, but it has the hallmarks of an scam, albeit a reasonably convincing one. I don't trust that website, but I will be researching into zeolite a little more.

I think I'll be looing into activated carbon and wood char as well.

I'm sorry, but this is a false statement. The FDA has approved many many many items out there that are not safe.

DITO on the FDA comment! They have aprroved soooo many things that are harmful to the body. Thats just what they want people to think.... If everything they approve is safe for us or "generally regarded as safe" why would their be recalls especially on drugs. If they didn't allow most of the crap we are puting into our bodies or is put into our bodies most of us wouldn't even be in the damn mess we are in.

that whole thing sounds fishy to me. My mom bought me 3 bottles of "so called miracle pills" for $200 from th mayo clinic a while back with no luck....I think I will stick with what the experts suggest!

I can't say for sure as my naturapath doctor,gave me the info about this,it has done some great things for alot of people,i have a bottle of it,i tried it at the recommended dose for about a week,and got alot of detox symptoms,so she told me to give it a break as i am probably moving things too fast,so i have no real proof other than a few of her patients that can sy for sure they benefitted from taking it.

In regards to the FDA, all GRAS means is "Generally recognized as safe (GRAS)--substances for which use in food has a proven track record of safety based either on a history of use before 1958 or on published scientific evidence, and that need not be approved by the FDA prior to being used." Obviously, things can be taken off the list if something comes up to show they are dangerous, but zeolites have been used in Asia for over 30 years and the only thing that is new is the technology to purify them for human consumption. Thus why NCD is a supplement and not a drug.

Only time will tell...but to be frank, I think it's evident that mercury and other toxins are PROVEN to be slowly or not so slowly killing all of us, so if there is something proven to help remove them, I think it's worth taking a look at, especially if there's no known side effects except for dehydration. Thus, drink tons of water with it and you should be okay. Like any detox, I have felt headaches, fatigue and the general symptoms associated with any kind of detox. Whenever toxins are moving out of your body on the cellular level, you will have some kind of symptom of detoxification, so make sure you speak to a doctor if you feel you may have excessive toxins in your system and nurture yourself during the beginning.

In terms of accusations that I am lying or that several doctors are lying to me, I can only speak from my personal experience and due diligence.

If you suspect that you have high levels of mercury toxicity, then I would ease up to the usual dosage instead of starting off with the full amount. Obviously, consult your alternative doctor if need be. I personally am working with doctors who have patients that have been diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer who are going into remission from this product...that says something to me. I also have documents discussing a clinical trial where 65 terminal cancer patients were put on NCD for 14 months. Of the 65, only 7 did not make it and most are already in complete remission. 89% cancer free.

But hey, I understand that illness can often times cause us to be sceptical and/or fearful of something this revolutionary. It is a bit hard to believe that something so simple might actually work...I just felt it was necessary for me to share the info...but definitely do your own due diligence and consult a doctor. Again, all I can speak from is my personal experience using NCD and I definitely feel much better. I love NCD. I've only been taking it for a couple weeks but it started making me feel a LOT calmer almost from the get-go. I was just losing it because I can't get anybody to take my amalgams out, and I don't know when I'm going to be able to make that happen, so I gave it a shot out of desperation.

I learned about it on the lymestrategies yahoo group, because a lot of people with Lyme Disease are taking it to help detox mercury and lyme toxins. It certainly kicked up my progress, but some days it has made me feel pretty drained from the detox, which hasn't been such a bad thing because I've gotten more and better sleep that way.

There's also a yahoo group I joined recently for parents of autistic children who are using it to detox them of mercury, many with great results. There are adults who are using it on there too (and some along with their children).
