When i had amalgam in my teeth, my periods were on the dot every month. Now, for the past 3 months they have been either 2 wks too early or late, never on time.

Hi Dawn,
The mercury has probably caused PCOS, which is related to the Insulin problem. My periods have almost stopped altogether, but since I got the root-canal tooth out, I had one (first in 2 years). Haven't had one since, but I've had removals in the meantime. I'm trying the low-gluten to see if that helps speed up the mercury excretion process. I've had some intensification of symptoms that were easing, so I want to try and help things, as much as I am able.

Hi Dawn, My last period was a week late (which is unusual, I was starting to worry!) - and this was just after my amalgams were removed. But I figure things will sort themsleves out in their own time as I slowly detox. Cheers..Karen

What did you replace them with? Some composites have bisphenol A which is estrogenic.

I know the composites i have now contains stuff that elevates eostrogen and im having them replaced when i can afford it, i had alot of cavitation surgery done recently, i put this first before the fillings as i thought it might be more important. i only have 2 fillings by the way.

Hi Dawn,
This is such a nightmare. Mine were on the dot too when i still had amalgams in, could set my clock by them, the first month after removal, it happened in two weeks, and then it was a week late. I thought it would right itself but nothing has helped. Before removal i'd get mild PMS about three days before, what a pleasure, now im like a rageing lunatic two weeks before, nothing ive tried has helped this either, thought soy did, but i was so wrong. Ive gotten so dispondent with this, I never have any peace. Thought of going on the injection cause then i wont menstruate and maybe then wont have this BAD PMS but im petrified it has the opposite effect, that just my luck. Whats a girl to do
