I wrote a bunch of letters to biodent re: diamondlite and exactly what is in it. I got a very strange letter back by someone who does not have a good grasp of grammar ( not degrading the person - but it seems odd that someone in communicattions in a company would not have a good grasp of grammar and spelling) saying that the biodent section of the company was just a small part of the company and due to lack of business, was no longer in service - or something along that line!!!! I remember I got in touch with Biodent by phone and found the person I spoke to not only unhelpful, but rather rude and the entire thing was VERY VERY odd.

I can't remember exactly what was said, but the person seemed unhelpful, very vague and didn't really seem interested, so I got nowhere. Not sure what is going on, because I rung them due to an advertisement I had advertising their Diamond dental materials and how safe they are and about being careful with choosing dental materials due to what they can do to a person's health etc. Then it gave the toll free number to ring and I did and that's what I got, useless answers and a rather rude person on the end of the phone.

The best help I got from that company was via email chatting to a man called Ron Moore, who was always good with giving information and help. HIs email is woolsorb@clear.net.nz

Bex, I have emailed this man, but so far, have received nothing back. Thanks for the info though. Maybe the other guy was right. Maybe Biodent is no longer in business and they are no longer making Diamondlite. I had to cancel my daughter's appt. because everything is up in the air. My 'holistic" dentist did use Diamondlite on me, but he usually uses Heliomolar. I looked up Heliomolar on the web and they proudly proclaim about how much fluoride is in their product - like it is an asset! Anyway, Bex, what info did this fellow give you re Diamondlite? Thanks.

He didn't give me any info on diamond lite. I had only emailed him about the diamond products and whether he could send some to my dentist and he said yes he could and he could give them instructions on how best to place it if they are not familir with it.

But I never asked him about diamond lite or anything. But i thought if you emailed him, he might be able to tell you. So I'm disappointed you haven't had a reply!! Very odd, but hey, maybe it's true, maybe they have gone out of business. But what I find odd is, a dentist here in my country uses their products ALL the time.

This dentist in my country that I think has worked along side Biodent and uses their Diamond products all the time (diamond lite too) and he would have a lot of knowledge, as he's not just in dentistry, he is into the entire thing, health, dental materials, everything.

Here is the email for his place of work pcidm@integrativedentalmedicine.com and you can ask him (either him or his wife/assisant will answer you). And if they can't answer a specific question about it, he might be able to let you know who can.

For starters, their webpage is online and it's http://www.integrativedentalmedicine.com/ which has a lot of info on it, including the biodent products I think if you look carefully as they discuss biocompatibility and other dental isses if you are interested. He also has contacts wtih other likeminded dentists and he has travelled overseas many times and has worked in USA, Australia etc, so he's probably one of the top and is well known.

And trust me, he knows what he's talking about. He's been in the business for 30 years and is well aquainted with dental materials and knows about ones that are not such a good idea like glass ionomers (which can contain metals salts) and the ones with too much fluoride etc, but again, it can depend on someone's individual biocompatibility, and of course general immune condition too.

Someone with a healthy immune system, is less likely to be bothered by replacement materials than someone who is already compromised.

lol, yes but I don't even know most of my cities in my country and when I saw Lord of the Rings on TV, I didn't recognise my own country and I think to myself, "people must imagine that's where we're living", but can tell you, it's not what I see when I walk out my front door. Lawns, concrete, powerlines, neighbours, cars and shops. So yeah, you have to go to the right places, as some of it is breathtaking.
