I am wondering who else here has received psychiatric treatment. If so how successful was it?
I was treated for OCD for 11 years but in the end the drugs only made me worse and nearly killed me.
How do your family members and friends react to you when you tell them that you are suffering from mercury poisoning? Do they simply tell you that you have to get "professional help" and start taking "medication"?

Howdy Aaron,
Yes i have been for psychiatric treatment but very briefly and it never helped at all. He could'nt figure out what was wrong because he first said I had PTSD and then anxiety disorder and when he suggested the anti-psychotics which i thought was over kill I ran like hell. Luckily because i believe that when you get involved with that its like getting sucked into a black hole. It just makes a bad thing worse. You're better off without it. I managed to stop my panic attacks by using the Linden method that i downloaded before i knew about the mercury. This really helped me.
I went to see a Dr when i started becoming depressed, and suicidal with overwhelming intrusive thoughts, he ran blood tests that came back clean and when i kept telling him that i was physically ill and that something was seriously wrong he told me I was a hypochondriac (spelling) and reffered me to the psychologist who also could'nt figure out what was wrong. I went from a happy, vibrant, successful 23 year old to a scared, depressed "psycho" within about 3 months. All after i had a broken amalgam redone. Im so greatful to God for showing me what was wrong.
A few memebers of my family and friends suffer from depression and one has bi-polar and a host of other problems. They all told me it was genetic, i hoped and prayed that i wasnt going to be damned to a life of hell by my genes. They laugh at me when I tell them its their amalgams as they all have many and think im just dillusional and looking for a scape goat. Although i must admit that now that im starting to feel even better then i ever can remeber they are starting to take notice. Hopefully I can help them get their lives back.
God Bless The victory is greater then the battle!

Same here, I tried antidepressants but they did nothing but make me thirsty, sleepy or hungry.
I know people are starting to sit up and take notice, but they don't want to modify their diets or admit amalgams are a problem, they aren't sick enough yet. Maybe they will be able to live their whole life with them in, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't be better without them...t

Add me to that list,i've done it in the past but offcourse like everyone else it did nothing to ease my situation. Basically it was just someone to share your feelings with whom wouldn't judge you (not in your presence anyway). I had already given him the heads up that i had no interest in taking any drugs for my symptoms which were severe panic and anxiety disorder.
