a symptom that has plagued me over the years, probably the worst which I suffer, is blushing. Its extremely embarrassing and confusing at times and doesn't go away easily. It does go hand and hand with anxiety, but I think if I did not blush at all in social situations and otherwise, my anxiety levels would be much much better. Probably the single most irritating symptom.. anyone else suffer from it? Or anyone successfully recovered from it?

This is a CLASSIC symptom of mercury. Uncontrollable blushing and exaggerated response to stimuli, particulary social. I no longer have this particular symptom, but am very ill in other ways.
However, in the early days? This started for me around age.. 19 and became a terrible problem. I would go pink just when someone was facing me and talking to me. I used to think how this must look to that person because I thought they might think I'm frigging well attracted to them or something because I'm going red. It would begin and then I'd feel it intensify and I knew I was going red because my face would go hot and the person would look at me like "what the hell?".
I had classic mercury poisoning and the ONLY way I could control this particular symptom at that time was going on a candida diet. I stopped all sugar, yeast, and gluten grains. I did still eat some fruit though and milk (though this is not recommended if a person seriously wants to get rid of candida).
This did help a lot at the time, but again, it depends how severe the mercury is and how severe the candida is. They can both do this at the sametime, or one can. So certainly, both need to be attended to.
In future, make sure you know this is not you at all. You are not going to be able to stop or control it mentally. It's the toxins. You can try all you want, I've been there and no amoutn of trying to relax or using any mental thoughts, does a darned thing. Only when I limited the toxins, did this stop. Once I got healthier, I coudln't even MAKE the blushing happen, it just wouldn't occur. So trying to make it stop won't work. The mind and nervous system are being puppeted by the poisons.
You can only control the candida, while you chelate mercury. Other than this, it might take time for these things to start subsiding because they both go hand in hand.
I know this is not much comfort and I'm sorry because I've been there and I know others get this also. But if you haven't already, try the candida diet. If you are doing this? then chelation will be the only way for this to begin subsiding.
Other than that, there might be medication to help control that while you do the other things if candida diet doesn't work. But whatever you do, keep chelating, mercury is at the bottom of it.

I agree with that. I also would blush at the drop of a hat and was very shy and had a number of other social interactions that were not normal that have simply gone away since my amalgams were removed .

I'm glad to hear yours went away, it does give hope to others suffering this affliction. And it is an affliction really. I too suffer some very strange mental effects and social interaction problems. As though my personality is almost non existent and my thoughts repetative and fearful. I'm a social failure now. It's amazing how mercury can do this. Human beings are so amazingly complicated and wired, that one little thing can tamper and cause a dominoe effect throughout the rest of the body or nervous system.
It is a comfort to hear others have these problems, but not that you'd want others to suffer it at the sametime.
