Because Algin is one of the ingredients in Modiflan, and both are derived from seaweed extract, can the two be taken together?

I know you recommend that Algin be taken on its own, away from other meds and supplements, but because of their similarity, can Algin and Modiflan be taken together?

I've never seen any information that would lead me to believe they could not be taken together. In fact, I've never seen any evidence that algin cannot be taken with other vitamins or supplements as well, I usually recommend taking them at a different times simply because of algin's all-absorbing effect. Perhaps we'll see some research on this in the future. Until then, we'll have to speculate.
