The past 2 weeks I have done some intermittent chelation ...
Meaning:
I dont have a set schedule; I have just started eating cilantro, garlic, onions more as a snack. And if I feel like my light headed feeling after eating the above is too much I'll down some algin 30mins to hour after.
I'm going on a somewhat rotation cycle of the chlorella and ALA; ie took a week off and will start up agian here soon.
I've been also using the sauna 3x a week.
Do you think this offhanded approch to chelation is ok?

Sounds to me like you're on the right track.
I'm a big believer in using how you feel to determine how hard to detox.
Let us know how it goes.

ATM I'm working on mercury detox and some therapy for a L4 bulged disc that I have had for 3 years (fun fun).
So my regimen has been swimming 3-4x a week, along with using the sauna for mercury detox and help with the 'pouch' I've accumulated since being inactive due to my disc problem.
I'm really enjoying the cilantro snacks; although the cilantro reminds me of my old pet iguana I had; I was trying to figure out what to feed him and he didnt like the stuff I offered him but the cilantro he chowed down on ...
I'm not positive but I think my mercury detox might be helping. I've lived with my breathing condition for so long that my body adapted to breathing this way. If I ever beat this 'disease' you can be sure I will write up a story and what all I have done to try to cure it; including all the trials and failures.
I appreciate you having a forum like this where like minded people can share and learn; often times we are alone in this world when it comes to our individual 'disease' and our battle to fight it and stay sane.

I tried and failed when I went full bore with frequent dose chelation (Culter's protocol), and with the protocol my dentist used, based on Klinghardt's method with lots of garlic, MSM, chlorella, and ALA.
I am now using cilantro, chlorella, and the basic list of vitamins and minerals listed on this site. It continues to kick, so to speak, but at least this way it is manageable, and I am doing something about the mercury in my system.
Unfortunately, when I do too much and my body feels like a toxic waste dump I stop all chelation, which isn't doing any good because it isn't moving the mercury out.
At least now something is happening, and I mention this because in your case you are at least doing something about mercury. Good for you.
