Hello again, First just a quick thank you for the Algin, Im feeling GREAT and when i start to feel a bit ill i take some and start to feel Great all over again, this stuff is a miracle. I call them my happy pills lol. I was at my doctor today where she gave me some oral DMSA, i must admit that im a little apprehensive about taking it, been feeling so good i dont want to spoil it so i think i'll start that later in the year. What i wanted to ask you guys is ..... she suggested i do a kidney and then a liver cleanse, all natrual ingredients, the liver takes a day and the kidneys over a course of days but have you tried this or would you suggest it. I havnt found much info about it here so i was just wondering. Is it still to early. Do you think it can make me feel ill again or has anyone here ever had a bad reaction to a cleanse.
Hope you all have a wonderful easter.

My business partner did a liver cleanse and had bad emotional reactions related to anger. I kindly asked her to stop so we could get along again. Not ironically, Chinese medicine associates liver problems with anger.
Basically, it's a very good thing but like any kind of detox, you needs to monitor yourself and make sure you don't overdo it.
The liver is very, very important and resilient.

I've done a bunch of GB or liver cleanses. It's a bit taxing on your system and time so you would want to be prepared in that sense.
Some people get great results from GB cleanses; I personally havnt but then again some people need to do a bunch before things start clearing up.
Not sure what a kidney cleanse is but like the above poster talked about with esparagus; its a great urinary tract/kidney cleanser. Juicing books recommend you eat or juice it raw; because that and spinache produce (ahh darn my memory cant remember the name of what it produces and its effects (olic acid and gout?) darn mercury and my memory <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />)
anyways ...

Thanks for the info. I certinly don't want to discourage anyone from doing a liver cleanse. I think they're really great and important. I only want to caution about being too aggressive. I took Milk Thistle and didn't have any bad effects from it. Others I know have, but they normally only last a short while. But don't be discouraged by the side effects anyway because they are simply going to occur with any good cleanse as the toxins are mobilized. Thanks.
