I had my final amalgam removed in mid October and since then have completed six chelation rounds (3 of 5mg and 3 of 12.5 mg). I haven't done many rounds because of my need to fit it around family commitments and also because I have not been feeling well for the past six weeks with symptoms from my adrenal fatigue, which I have had for many, many years now. Chelation could obviously be worsening these symptoms.
I have read Andy's book many times and have one question. As it has been four months since my last amalgam was removed should I start ALA now, or should I keep going with DMSA until I have done 14-16 rounds or so?
Any help is much appreciated.

I personally would start ALA at 25mg or less once or twice per day only. Then gradually work up as I feel fit.
When you're really mercury toxic, ALA can cause headaches and other issues - which are all part of the detox - but you don't want to push your body too hard.
Keeping an eye on how you're feeling is a good indication of whether or not you're detoxing to quickly.
