Hey,
I had my first amalgams put in my mouth when I was around 13-14. And gradually that came up to a total of 8 by last year. I had 2 taken out unknowingly by a dentist last year, I was going to go into the RAF and needed the all clear from a dentist, so being the thieving parasites they are, she billed up a lot of work for herself.
The following months my symptoms flared up.
Now 2 weeks ago I had 5 fillings replaced over 2 appointments, I now have just 1 amalgam remaining. Immediately after I started sleeping a lot better, I hadn't woke up that well in years, my digestion got a hell of a lot better and no bloatedness, and my energy levels improved.
However my short term memory has gotten worse, and some other symptoms are still there.
I am unsure where my symptoms are coming from, I hope that it is the mercury but I went through a stage when I was 19-24 of going club drugs like ecstasy, coke, MKat, and I think these things can cause my symptoms also. I am now 26.
The symptoms that are the worse are the social anxiety ones, its not really depression but I just don't feel excited about general things, like when I am feeling 100% I can just talk to people and the conversation flows and I can think of new things to say and put myself across well. But when I am feeling like my head is in a cloud I feel anxious about talking to people and them noticing that I am anxious and then thinking I am wierd or something. This social anxiety has been there since I was around 19, and I had stages where it disappeared all together for months. My memory has always been bad since I can remember but I always thought it was the cannabis I smoked as 15-16 year old kid.
all these symptoms have now gone apart from anxiety, memory and brain fog, I am hoping that they will go away if I detox the remaining mercury.
Could it be that the mercury in my blood has cleared out but the mercury in my brain is still there.
Some people say that depression gets better after amalgam removal so this wouldn't make sense.
I just want to feel like I did when I was at college before I started getting paranoid and anxious. I know people who have paranoid symptoms from taking drugs so I think that it could well be the same for me, with little hope of getting better.
However these people are like that all the time, I go up and down, I can be great for 3 days then worse for the next fortnight.
Even before I started taking drugs I remember asking my Dad why I felt confident and good for a few days then I would feel shy and nervous for a few days all the time.
Can anyone else relate to these symptoms and how did you detox, and did you get better?
