A population-based, case-control study of men under 65 years of age was conducted, involving 628 men newly diagnosed with prostate cancer and a control group of 602 men. Study results suggest that high consumption of vegetables, particularly cruciferous vegetables, is associated with a reduced risk of prostate cancer.
