Hello ladies,
Was just wondering if any of your mercury poisoning symptoms are exaggerated when you start your period. I seem to be able to cope through the rest of the month but when it arrives everything is magnified by ten million. AND ALL HELL BREAKS LOSE! especially the bad thoughts and emotional stuff. Ive never had a problem with it before until a few months ago (after i had a huge amalgam put in) now it just seems to be getting worse. The first MD i saw said THE symptoms are cyclical and thats why it could never be the mercury because mercury symptoms are constant but im hoping that it is the mercury because then at least i know whats wrong. Anyone else suffer the same thing, id really appreciate some input you that could bring me some clarity. Thanks for your time.

I am not an expert on how mercury works, but I am sure we are all agreed that it affects hormones. Which means they are lurching all over the place. That MD is full of baloney.
Animals feel pain & suffering just as we do, and they value their lives as much as we value ours.

Yes, I do. Mercury does effect your hormones and in combination with all the other chemicals out there that have estrogenic effects on the body, we tend to get an over load of estrogen causing a deficiency of progesterone (which drops right before you start your period-this is what starts the cycle. I have found using magnesium and natural progesterone cream, my symptoms are much better.

Oh yeah. I have grown up with a bunch of fillings and merc toxic now. PMS is I beleive actually mercury poisoning! Seems that women did not have this problem before most of had metal. Can't cope with anything during that time. The exhaustion is worse, the thoughts, all of it. It is like a different person takes over.

If mercury symptoms are constant, then my problem is due not due to mercury, as my symptoms come and go, come and go, as do most autoimmune symptoms. However, I believe that most symptoms of mercury poisoning are cyclic due to what we do, (ie grinding teeth, drinking hot beverages, etc) and whether the mercury is in the blood, or has gone into the organs - (and it depends on which organs) - or whether or not mercury is being mobilized by something, etc.....

I do know that ovaries are a target for mercury. It does store there so I am sure it interferes with something. I have notices the PMS has gotten worse as I have gotten sicker. I really didn't have any syptoms a few years back. However, I have always had very painful cramps!

I did find that Forti Flax helps some and keeping up with vitamins. The omegas in the flaxseed seem to help in some way. And also, I start taking tylenol a day or so before the cramps actually start and stay on the tylenol throughout the days you cramp. This lessons how painful they are. Avoid caffeine. And don't ask me why, but chocolate seems to help too.

Hi metalmouthmom,
Thanks for the advice, i used to take flaxseed but it made me quite wired if you could say that, i then changed to evening primrose oil and that has helped ALOT, ive also found that cutting out dairy was a great choice but EVEN BETTER is soy milk. This has really made coping so much easier, it really takes the whole edge off.
well im having an amalgam removed tomorrow and the other one on monday, (thankfully only got 2) i have never been so nervous in my entire life. went for a vitamin c IV today and feeling quite good otherwise. Wish me luck and heres to the road of recovery.

Oh bless you! Best wishes, I know about the nervous, I have 11 fillings left, already had three out. I will be having them all out at once and am nervous as well. Take comfort in only two if that helps! And take comfort that you will finally be rid of that junk!
