I stopped eating this as it was too strong and burned my mouth. I finally gathered enough courage to start eating this again. So far just one clove(section) a day after a large meal, chewed well, washed down with plenty of water. Not only is this the cheapest and easiest to find antifungal and antiparasitic, but it is also one of the most effective.

JK, Here's a quote I read. "Most dear actors, eat no onions nor garlic, for we are to utter sweet breath." -William Shakespeare --- Yes, I know the all natural leeks, onions, garlics, etc, (as mentioned in the Bible) are best and healthiest. Quick note: I dated an Italian man twice. Good looking, but reeked of GARLIC! LOL! Thanks again, JK.

I like the smell of garlic. It is the burning in my mouth that raw garlic causes that I don't like. I guess this is what makes it a potent cure though. I guess it is worth the pain. Many garlic supplements claim to be as good or better than raw garlic, however I have not seen any tests that show them to be as effective for curing infections, or for heavy metal detoxification. Some garlic supplements do well at lowering cholesterol, however I think most here need something potent to fight candida, bacterial pathogens, and parasites. Garlic supplements are also much more expensive than raw garlic.

Greetings JK! It's nice to hear from you once again. It's a good thing that you like the smell of garlic. WHOA! It's been said that, 'people cannot smell themselves, as they are used to the odors'. Amazingly, I lost over 75% of my sense of taste and smell with the brain surgery, but anything offensive to me, is REALLY POTENT! And I can tell you, Garlic and Onions are most offensive! - JK, I wish you a blessed Resurrection Sunday! JESUS IS ALIVE!-

I increased my raw intake to two cloves a day. That stuff really burns my mouth, but I think it is worth the pain. I found this page about a garlic eating contest. Someone ate 40 cloves of garlic???? I think that might be dangerous. It seems like it would also be quite painful! http://www.zanolininursery.com/GarlicEatingContest.ivnu

Hi JK! It's nice to 'see' you this morning. I can certainly understand to treat your health matters, natural is best. I have Russ' permission to give out information about other Health/Herbs, supplements. Isn't he the greatest! If he has these items I do not know, if so, please give him the business. Now,JK, I want you to know that sense you can't see me, I am smiling and not meaning to be sarcastic. Once again, I see that Swanson's Health Products < www.swansonvitamins.com>, has a large selection of Certified Organic Coffee, Tea, cooking oils, foods, and YES! Certified Organic Spices. YEA! I have used their Organic Garlic and Onions. Both of which help with the taste of my yummy spaghetti sauce, so says my honey. Ha! Ha! - [Swanson Health Products is proud to announce a new line of Certified Organic Spices produced through a partnership with Red Monkey Organic Foods. Red Monkey is a fast-growing midwestern company located in Mount Vernon, Missouri, that shares our values of customer commitment, pristine organic product quality and good health through natural living-. USA ORGANIC] JK, the products here are NOT in capsule form, they are whole, ground, leaves, etc.- dried products. Not expensive, compared to 'Healthy Foods' in my town. in various size jars, and bags. Maybe check it out. You decide. Once again, if you see Russ has this, please order from Herb Allure. Hey JK! Thanks for drawing my attention to this! I see a lot of Snack Healthier-- Organic Raw Foods. YUMMY! JK, and all the others on this forum, have a 'Blessed Easter Sunday' as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus! HE'S ALIVE! - [BTW: I agree that eating 40 cloves of Garlic can defintely be dangerous! All things in moderation!]

I find raw garlic one of the best things I can eat for 'temporary' relief of some symptoms ...
Starting to eat it again; 'trying to get in 1 clove a day' ... its a high sulfur containing food so also plays a roll in helping with mercury; although I often get a bit of brain fog after eating some so wonder if it mobilizes it too much and doesnt get enough out.

I can't handle Garlic at all really, sulfur? It doesn't go over well with me. Some Pau D'arco Tincture or Olive leaf though I made at home myself on the other hand! Wonderful for symptoms and antibacterial. Olive Leaf is my fave, very safe too.
BTW JK you were right before about Licorice as I have read alot on this adaptogen, truly amazing stuff! Chinese Licorice seems to be the more calming and best of the two.
In Sanskrit, tulsi means literally "the incomparable one" and has been revered since ancient times. Tulsi, the holy basil, is said to have grown at the site of Christ’s crucifixion and is associated with St. Basil’s feast.
