I'm in the market for a water purifier for my whole house. I'm concerned about a myriad of water problems that expose me by showering and washing dishes because I don't drink tap water.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Contact Culligan water. www.culligan.comThey are excellent. Expect to pay a bit for a system but it reverse osmosis' the whole house. You can make payments on it and they maintain it for you. They will come to your home and analyse the water and address the concerns you have about your water. They can soften it as well with a sodium or potassium base system. These are the only guys I could find that would actually admit that flouride is toxic and should not be in the water.
