I am sure I read it here on this forum that milk is not good to drink if you're trying to detox from mercury because it methylates(sp?) mercury, making everything worse. Well, I don't drink cow's milk, I use raw goat's milk and make kefir. I was drinking about 12 ounces/day. About a week ago, I felt sick after drinking the kefir for two days in a row. The next day, I went without kefir. I didn't connect it, but I felt SO GOOD that day, - more energetic than I have felt in a long time! And my vision was so clear - and not double. I had kefir the next morning, and felt really good all day until about 3:00 p.m. All of a sudden, I felt like someone had thrown me against a brick wall. I had to go to bed. I put 2 and 2 together. I have not had any milk products since and am feeling really well. What's more, my double vision has improved immensely. I should have listened in the first place! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Yes, Dr. Boyd Hales speaks about experiements that have been done that show that milk prohibits the excretion of fecal mercury. This information is contained in a DVD (along with a lot of other information) that is available here: Mercury and It's Relationship To Neurological Disorders
