Hello again,
Can anybody give me some advice on the chelation my doctor has prescribed for me, i havnt started yet because i want to do some research first.
She wants to put me on an EDTA iv, not sure how often.... ive read that this is not effective in chelating mercury, only lead but she says she has had alot of success with it and it is'nt as harsh as the other IV's thats why she uses it on alot of children. She also wants me to take oral DMSA three times a day is that enough or do i have to take it every three to four hours like some say. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as im so unsure as to what to do.
Has anybody had any success or adverse reaction to milk thistle. got a tired liver and have read that this can help. Do you reccommend i try it or is it not safe, scared it makes my symptoms worse. Thank your for your advice in advance.

Go ahead with the milk thistle. It can't do you any harm at all. I have been taking it for 18 months now and have read of other people taking it for years. It helps the liver renew itself and stimulates bile production. It's a good thing but you need to take quite a lot for it to work optimally. Make sure you get a good brand.

those EDTA Iv's are expensive...and they really do not work well for mercury...it should be the last resort...and you may need many...because it doesn't bind well with mercury....the dmsa works much, much better.....BUT you should NEVER take it everyday...Only 3 days every 2 weeks...IF you take it Everyday....You will most likely never get well....You need time for your body to build up it's strength after every dose.....Sandra P
