Do you think my low blood pressure could somehow be related to mercury? Certain drugs seem to give me blood pressure drops that can take me several days to recover from (because I feel dizzy and tired).

Hello,
For sure its the mercury my pressure is at 70 over 40, constantly low, and also sometimes cant get a reading, machine reads error Lol. My homeopath put me on some medication for it and seems to be helping, dizziness has eased off quite alot. if you want to know more give me a shout, not sure if you use homeopathic remedies or not.

mercury impedes red blood cell production and I know for me, it seems like my kidneys are doing the bulk of the removal of the toxins (frequent urination) causing me to be chronically dehydrated. Low blood volume means you will have low blood pressure because of the lack of blood.
I drink tons of water and try to walk briskly for 30 minutes most days to help build blood volume.

"Aldosterone release: This steroid hormone is released from the adrenal gland in response to either high serum potassium levels or if angiotensin II is present. This hormone increases the excretion of potassium by the kidneys, while increasing sodium retention. Since sodium is the main ion which determines the amount of fluid in the blood vessels by osmosis, aldosterone will increase fluid retention, and indirectly, blood pressure."from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_pressureAldosterone is produced by the adrenal glands. Because of mercury's effect on the adrenals, the production of Aldosterone can be altered and blood pressure can lower as a result.
