Russ, my friend, you have got to see the movie Code 46. I think it would be right up your alley. Truly. Not only is it a fantastic love story, paralleled only by the film Before Sunset, but it also it touches on a great number of other topics, from the woes of cloning to the future of globalisation, deforestation, and general global warming. Honestly, I can't stress seeing this film enough. If you don't march out immediately to rent this film and give it a watch I'll be really disappointed .

OK, I'll give it a view.
I'm always initially skeptical of films that deal with political issues because nearly all of them have good basic ideas with subtle between-the-lines messages that promote things like UN agenda 21. Yuk.
Nevertheless, I'll check it out and let you know what I get from it.

Yuk. Yeah, I know where you're coming from. Though I didn't get the impression that any of the movie's messages were even subtle promotions of United Nation agendas, etc. It struck me as mostly a message about the future of our withering world and the consequences of modern lifestyles. The fact that it was not a blockbuster hit also suggests the movie's sincerity, in my mind .
