We are wanting to do some travelling and have been told we should get shots for hep a and b. I am really worried about these shots as i have enough health problems and don't need anymore. Any advice on this would be appreciated.

I would research hep a and b and learn for myself the dangers and probability of getting this. Also, look up treatment options etc. I know when I was looking up about tetenus (sp) boosters, that I found that it is actually very treatable. Sometimes the pharm. companies put out info to try and scare you into having the shots.

Sometimes the pharm. companies put out info to try and scare you into having the shots. Missy is right on! For them, money is the bottom line and fear sells. Here's some into on Hep A/B Hepatitis AHavrix, SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals 1-800-633-8900 ext. 5231 produced using formalin, aluminum hydroxide, phenoxyethanol (antifreeze), polysorbate 20, residual MRC5 proteins (from medium) medium: human diploid cells (originating from human aborted fetal tissue) Hepatitis BEnergix-B, SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals 1-800-633-8900 ext. 5231 produced using aluminum hydroxide, thimerosal* medium: yeast (possibly 5% residual) * Thimerosal is a highly-toxic mercury-based preservative (about 50% mercury). I've had Hep A and B done last year. I went a few times and even came for followups to insure that those vaccines would last me a lifetime. Now looking back I am fearful of the effect those vac. can have on my body. I am in the process of having my silver filling removed, and that brings some light for me as I hope to recover, but now the vaccines I don't have an answer for. What can be done about hep b, as it has staff made with 50% mercury floating though my body? Is there anything I can do to detox, or take suppliments. Does anyone know? Please respond. Thanks.

Alex, there is plenty you can do. Here are some guidelines: - Don't drink milk -this interferes with your ability to expel mercury
- Don't drink caffiene -this converts mercury into a form enabling it to pass through cell walls
- Don't eat seafood -it often contains mercury
- Don't ingest NutraSweet -this is poison and can cause additional health issues
- Don't eat high-sulphur foods like eggs -this will mobilize (chelate) mercury in your body
- Don't eat processed sugars -candy bars, soft drinks, etc.
- Take lots of VItamin C (2500 to 5000 mgs/day) -this will help protect your body from the oxidative effects of mercury
- Take 400 iu /day of Vitamin E -this protects your brain from the oxidative effects of mercury and replaces selenium which is displaced by mercury
- Take 1500 to 2000 mg /day of Algin -this absorbs mercury in the colon to help prevent reabsorbtion.
Algin is the single most important thing you can do at this time. When your final amalgam filling is removed, you can then begin chelating to remove the mercury from your body, but not before. Hope this helps.

Wow, that is a lot of things. Thanks Russ! I will follow your guidelines. But I am a bit confused regading all this. Did you mean that as of now while I have a filling all I can do is take Algin, or I should also follow the rest of the guidelines? And when I get the filling out, will detoxification help with heb b vaccine also? All I know that as of now I've been drinking milk, candy, seafood etc. All I know that as of now I feel my worse in 23 years.

Also Russ regarding Sulphur. I just did some research and found that Foods high in Sulphur are Kale, Watercress, Cabbage, Brussel Sprouts, Cauliflower, Spinach, Leeks, Cucumber, Lettuce, Avocado, Tomato, Asparagus, Hazelnuts and of that sort. So I should avoid them also, or is that eggs are the worse for mercury toxic people? Thanks ahead.

Alex, here are some answers to your questions. Did you mean that as of now while I have a filling all I can do is take Algin, or I should also follow the rest of the guidelines? Actually, with the filling still in, you should be taking Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Algin. These will help protect you for the time being. You don't want to do anything that chelates mercury because with the filling still in, it can mobilize mercury into the blood from the filling and cause additional damage. And when I get the filling out, will detoxification help with heb b vaccine also? Absolutely. A good detox plan will help with whatever exposure you've had, no matter what the source. Here is a link to a list of sulphur-rich foods: Sulphur Rich Foods I would only worry about eggs, avoid them completely. The other foods I would only have occasionally because I think their benefits often outweigh their harm in regard to sulphur. Hope this helps.
