I have been using this herb for around a month so far. I still get a strong reaction from it a few hours after taking it. I think this is a healing reaction. I initially got this type of reaction from olive leaf extract, but no longer get a strong reaction from olive leaf extract. I am not even taking much of the cat's claw, just a Solgar capsules three times a day.

Today I had a very strong reaction to the cat's claw. I guess I need to stick with it. I do wonder when the reaction will decrease. My muscle ache gets much more severe a few hours after taking the cat's claw. Anyone else here using cat's claw? Did you get a severe reaction to it, and did the reaction diminish after a while?

I'm still getting strong reactions from the cat's claw. I know it is from the cat's claw, as the muscle ache and discomfort get much worse a few hours after I take it. On days that I need to be active, I skip the morning dose of cat's claw so that I am able to function.
One important thing about cat's claw. Women who are pregnant or who might become pregrant need to avoid cat's claw.

Lymes disease............. Thats why you are getting that reaction IMO!
In Sanskrit, tulsi means literally "the incomparable one" and has been revered since ancient times. Tulsi, the holy basil, is said to have grown at the site of Christ’s crucifixion and is associated with St. Basil’s feast.

I was thinking that perhaps I might be infected with Lyme disease among other things. I was hoping that I could raise the dosage of the cat's claw, but the reaction I get is so strong that I wouldn't dare raise it. With olive leaf, the strong reactions I got to it subsided after a few weeks. Now I don't get much of a reaction to it(perhaps I might though if I raise the dosage substantially?)

I stopped the cat's claw for a while and just recently restarted it. I am feeling desperate. I am also taking astragalus, olive leaf extract, and Now Candida Clear as well as vitamins and minerals.
