Many with mercury toxicity use olive leaf extract to fight candida, bacteria, and parasites. This article mentions mercury detox with olive leaf extract. Is this due to killing candida that soaked up mercury? If as many claim the candida do a great job of absorbing mercury, then chelation won't be too effective while someone has candida overgrowth. I always thought about fighting candida first before chelating as the symptoms of the candida plus the chelation together would be too great. I didn't think that the candida would prevent much of the mercury from leaving the body. http://www.ehow.com/way_5479220_mercury-wih-olive-leaf-extract.html

!!!! I started taking my powder again the other day of this stuff! Truly amazing what it can do! JK you ever tried Turmeric as well? I started it this week and my die offs are not really near as bad, it is a liver herb right? I take some Lecithin too (Sunflower and Olive Oil together), I do not get die offs like I did, any reason why? Organs eliminate and die offs become much less I guess.
GOOD POST! I can't wait to get my Tulsi plant either from that guy at work, I am going to add that as well for the Mercury and call it a day!
In Sanskrit, tulsi means literally "the incomparable one" and has been revered since ancient times. Tulsi, the holy basil, is said to have grown at the site of Christ’s crucifixion and is associated with St. Basil’s feast.

Turmeric is great stuff. I am using curry powder that contains plenty of turmeric rather than turmeric itself since I can't find decent turmeric cheap. I like the coriander in the curry powder. Today I ate some raw cilantro. Since my sleep is so messed up, I can't do ALA or DMSA chelation(why can't they make good timed release versions of these?). I guess I can do plenty of detoxification with 48 mg a day iodine and cilantro.
Lecithin is okay, but other forms of choline seem to be a much higher percentage choline than lecithin is.

is your body burden low enough now to use cilantro? do you get any reaction to it and how much are you eating a day?

I guess I am eating around 6-8 stalks of it at each meal. I bought a bunch of it(perhaps 8 ounces? for $2). Last time I bought fresh cilantro it only lasted around 4 days before spoiling, so I didn't want to buy more than one buch at a time(I guess I could have bought more and frozen the rest, but I don't know how well it holds up with freezing, or if some medicinal properties of it could be damaged. I am getting a bit of a mild headache with it, which is what I got with ALA/DMSA, so it must be working. I guess the high iodine intake is also helping. Last year I think I did over 20 rounds with 200 mg ALA, 66 mg DMSA each dose. My amalgams were all out over 2 years ago, but I had 25 of them! Last time I used cilantro it was with ALA and DMSA.
