Hi Miriam,
with me it seems that some symptoms come and go. Most of them are SLOWLY going away, but just this weekend I had a horrible come back of twitches, shaking, haluccination and anxiety. Luckily it only lasted about half an hour but I have not had it that bad in the past 5 months. I had no idea what provoked this strong return of symptoms, I am now living my 9th month of mercury poisoning.
The only thing is I seem to bounce back quicker and get my energy back quicker. So the episodes are shorter and less strong, but still occur. I usually take extra Algin and vitamins when I feel this way, have lemon water and if needed take something to calm down and stop muscle twitching/shaking which is very scary. Magnesium is good but if it's a strong symptom I resort to a sedative unfortunately...
Do whatver works for you to help you get through this until you start feeling better, but again be ready that symptoms will come back sometimes seemingly for no reason. I cannot wait until they no longer happen, but it may be another good 6 months or more. Russ says usually up to a year before symptoms disappear, and then they may reappear if you do physical exercise, which is still too early for me to attempt at this stage other than walking...
Good luck to you and keep posted.

Mariam,
I'd recommend magnesium (which I believe you're already taking?) and lots of water. You may want to try CoQ10 as well. Using a dry sauna as often as possible may help.

Miriam, I would recommend Algin or the alginate I am taking (Genestra Sodium Alginate). I've been taking it a week now, and have noticed an improvement. When I woke up today, I had no pins and needles in my hands. I couldn't believe it, especially as I'd done a lot of computer work yesterday and have a goitre on my wrist. It's rare for me to wake up without numb or tingles in one of my arms at least once in the night.
