I cannot and am still skeptical of this, this all seems so bogus that fillings in your mouth could cause so much of this crap.
The only thing that makes me beleive any of this that before I had my problems I woke up one morning and felt parts of a fillings left in my mouth, I have ground my teeth ever since I had 6 of these put in my mouth, two weeks later my feet and hands broke out in small pus filled bumps, then my skin began getting lighter and lighter and lighter gradually, all of my fillings have been to rot out and not have gotten into two of my real teeth on the other side of my mouth. I do admit I do smoke, but have every test done in the world to check for cancer and they keep saying I do not have cancer, I had two small brown spots come up on my ring fingers within a year of me getting these fillings and now I have trouble swallowing on one side of my throat. I still fear it is cancer, but it makes me wonder with the two cracked filings I have left if itis this or not. I cannot get my stupid Dr to listen to me about this , or pinks disease et.c due to my hands and my feet are very pink, I have slowly gotten these pulled out and like I said have two to go , am going this week, and have put myself on some DMSA , I can really smell a difference when I use the bathroom in the urine, it about knocks you over, the only thing that worries me what If this is melanoma and someone missed it, this has been 14 months though and I beleive if this was melanoma untreated id be dead by now. I just cant beleive all of this stuff I read about this dental amalgam ilnes stuff, I have contacted Freya Koss twice now and asked the same question, did you get pale when you encountered this illness lol and received no reply on that topic but a couple of emails from her, it almost makes you wonder if this freya koss is a real person or what, she couldnt answer a simple question like that to if she turned pale or not, her pictures sure looked like it so whats the hold up. I dunno wht the hell is going on , but it scares the crap out of me, my penis is even red. and no I do not have HIV or any or that crap, i have taken two hiv tests 5 months apart, one blood and one swab test and both have came back negtive, have taken severa other tests and nothign has been found, this is driving me nuts, and living in small town illinois none of these quacks around here even think that I am mercury toxic eventhough I used to break out when I wore a cheap metal belt, necklace or watch, god i feel like i am in hell.

Why do you find it hard to believe that fillings can cause problems?

Mercury is extremely toxic to human beings. Even small amounts damages cells. The fillings constantly leak mercury into our bodies. How sick we get depends on lots of things, mainly how quickly our bodies can detox the mercury. Not everyone detoxes at the same rate - and some people are thought not to be able to detox at all. So, mercury builds up to toxic levels. It's all individual based.

It's hard to believe that a peanut can kill someone, but it happens to nut-allergy sufferers. It's hard to believe that a tiny bullet can kill a 6ft man, but it can. It's hard to believe that a bit from an insect or a snake can kill us, but it can.

Our bodies are not invincible. If we consume poisons then we will suffer in some way, and if we have amalgam fillings then we consume poison almost all the time. If you smoke, then you're getting over 400 toxins in your body every day. Those who smoke should not be surprised when they develop problems.

Couple things, anonymous...

(1) I would not be taking DMSA if you still have amalgam fillings in your mouth.

(2) There is so much science on this issue that, when people say they don't believe this, I just tell them to read the science. There is no question anymore whether mercury coming from fillings can hurt you, it's established?well known.

Consider that there are EPA guidelines limiting the amount of mercury you can breath and ingest, however, you are breathing and ingesting mercury every day if you have silver fillings. We know what mercury does to the body, this is well-known. The only question is, "Does mercury go into the body from amalgam fillings? Well, this is now well established as well.

Fortunately, there's really no room for opinion on this anymore. Mercury amalgams are what they are and they do what they do.

Amalgam removal is the only thing that could have caused my improvements. I've tried countless things, this is only to have worked.

Not believing is ok. If it is all rubbish then what's the harm will getting your fillings replaced? Just try it and see.

Alginate is the only thing that has helped my OCD. I noticed a change within a couple of days. I've tried other things like magnesium with no effect, so I don't think it's a "psychosymantic" response because I would have thought the other things would have helped. It was searching for something to help my worsening problem that led me to find out about mercury. I am pretty chronicly poisoned at the moment, which is why I think the alginate helped so quick. I skipped one last night and I had panic attacks when I was in bed. I think it's made a difference for me and now convinces me more than anything I am poisoned.

I know i'ts hard to believe- We're not exactly encouraged to believe in filling poisoning from the medical organizations.-- especially the ADA.

What I found amazing is that even though the dentists insist that silver fillings are not dangerous in our mouths, that when they have to dispose of old fillings removed from people (perhaps from Wisdom teeth removal, or cracked fillings needing replacement) the dentist is required to seal the old metal fillings in biohazard type containers and not simply toss them in the garbage.

Also, a person starts to really feel negative symptoms (which are different for everyone-depending on your inherited genetic weaknesess) after their old fillings start corroding or cracking.

The cracking of the filling emits tons more methyl mercury into the body than a metal filling that isnt cracked.-- though the normal metal filling still emits vapor.

same thing happens if you grind your teeth alot or scrape the filling in some way via a dental teeth cleaning, or eating super crunchy foods.

You should read Hal Huggins book, "it's all in your Head". This dentist put up with alot of flack from the medical establishement when he discovered through his practice that mercury poisoning was really happening to his patients with silver fillings. Many of them suffered from nerve diseases--such as MS which mysteriously went into "remission" after the fillings were replaced.

There is a photo in that book of actual mercury vapor being emitted from a removed tooth filling. They used a black light to observe the vapor.

In a perfect World, metal teeth fillings would be safe, since they are no longer in liquid form. However,brushing your teeth, the acids in our saliva, acidic foods- including most fruits and tomatoes, pizza, etc., crunchy foods- (including potato chips), and just a visit to the dentist for a teeth cleaning , as well as the eventual eroding of the metal filling will leak in mercury into the skin tissues-- sinus tissues, and then eventually the rest of the digestive and lymphatic system and bloodstream,etc.

Metal fillings are 50% mercury. The newer fillings have even more. They dont stop emitting methyl mercury after 10 -20 years., but even 50-60 years later. Mercury is found throughout every layer of an amalgam filling-- so constant abrasiveness will only emit more mercury vapor constantly.
