When i first took some cilantro for the first time in my life, the fresh leaves, I had a massive headache.

Now when I take it, Im fine

I am going to start juicing it also.

Is it helpful though ?

i wanted try it too but a freind said Andy Culter said it makes people horrobly permanently sick so i avoid it now and take lipoic acid instead.

My family believes i suffer from psychosis beacuase it try to detox.

but fillings ARE toxic and the DO spray.

it should be helpful. Cilantro is a known chelator but it can have side effects if your levels are high. A headache and even fatigue can be a sign of detox. If it is too much for you then you should try taking it in small amounts or get off of it. But if you're fine now then stay on it..some things work for some and dont work for others..i take a little bit of cilantro myself and it doesnt make me feel that bad..hope this helps and good luck

I think anything that mobilises/chelates mercury that is used incorrectly, too early, increases the risk for further uptake of mercury into the brain - risking damage.

Cilantro no exception - but it is likely much less risky if the person has first reduced their blood/body levels of mercury. Even then, it is not known how cilantro works in order to give a protocol for it to recommend it's safety in chelating mercury (As Andy has said). However, some people may not be able to get ALA or may respond poorly to it for whatever reason, could find cilantro to be a last resort - it may help, it may cause problems.

Either way, no brain chelator should be used apparently until blood/body levels of mercury are reduced first (safely as possible).

It is not known how everybody is going to respond to any given product/protocol, but there are warning signs when enough people have had horrible reactions and long term problems after using certain products/protocols that one would be wise to take note of. Which Andy has done and has even experimented on himself in order to find a protocol worthy of recommendation to others that has a trackrecord of safety/effectiveness and testimonies to back it up.

I cannot say that cilantro is going to hurt everybody that tries it. But as with any chelating agent, it's the timing/protocol that appears to have a big impact and I don't know of a protocol for cilantro that reduces redistribution whilst it is removing the mercury.

Culter says you take cilantro and you get very sick. He is a professor and studied this. I am not taking it beacuase culter says it causes psychosis and my familiy already believes i am psychotic so i will not take this for sure.

Why gamble if you have a tried/tested protocol that seems to work for many people?! Is it worth the risk? I don't think it is. Though many people will try things out for themselves and try other protocols, which is anybody's right. As long as they are aware of the risks.

I wish I had been aware earlier, but then again, when you have so many conflicting ideas amongst professionals on how things should be done and what to use? This makes it difficult for any victim of mercury toxicity to know what to do.

My decision came by way of listening to others online and getting the "Amalgam Illness diagnosis and Treatment" book. and then trying it for myself. Then I realised how much of the past misery I'd put myself through was unnecessary and possibly very dangerous!

Ole i don't have a book from professor cutler, i found this online a freind sent me a link.

But professor cutler says witch doctor detox can cause mental illness... so i am not goung to do it!!!

Of course I would never give my child with mod/severe autism alcohol to see if this helps/ works even for awhile but...

I know that alcohol can calm tremor disorders.

Alcohol takes the place of mercury somehow but when the alcohol exists the brain does it take some mercury out with it?
Not the best solution though but interesting to know.

I think alcohol can temporarily mask a few of the typical mercury symptoms like social unease/fear, stress, etc. With mercury, when I drank alcohol, my shyness with others and difficulty opening up would temporarily "disappear" and I'd become very chatty. It makes you feel as though you can talk to people with more confidence, which for me was a total contrast with how I felt every other time.

But what would then happen after? Severe depression and toxicity is what I would be left with. Worst yeast and worst liver toxicity. That is what I had after a drinking bout.

I have never felt that alcohol has done anything positive for me healthwise. I believe that it can be used too easily as a temporary mask that can so easily become a crutch in someone's life. Someone close to me has become an alcoholic. Her life is now a mess because of it. It has taken a tremendous toll on her health, her life and she is now on unemployment.

Does mercury cause this? I don't know, but I'd hazard a guess and say in a number of cases it could well be a contributing factor at least. It causes one to reach for something to relieve the tremendous mental/emotional suffering that mercury is capable of creating (whether directly/indirectly).

I get my fats in the form of butter/lard//olive oil/fish oil (mercury free). I'd stay away from alcohol, lest you find you begin to rely upon it and wind up more toxic that before. It maybe ok in moderation, but what happens if one has a tendency to become addicted? or find they require more to ease their social fears etc?

In fact, I have found that I have quite an intolerance to alcohol and that my body treats it like a poison. Perhaps this is a good thing, because if I didn't get so ill after it, it may well have become a way of life for me as a means to deal with the mercury...
